Been living at Alta+ for three months and everything has been great. The management was responsive to repair requests often within hours or a couple of days at most. Jefferies has been a pleasure to work with and has ensured we've had such a pleasant experience.

I love this building! I have a wheelchair so the biggest factor for me living here was how accessible the building is from the apartment itself, to the ramp to get to the gym and the MASSIVE locker room and pool. Also love how close the building is to restaurants and stores. The front desk team is also amazing and always open to helping whenever I need anything. 100% recommend!

The time I’ve spent at Alta has been excellent. The 360 city views are stunning, the amenities (outdoor rooftop lounges and indoor heated pool especially) are top notch, and everything is beautifully maintained. They have great events every couple of weeks, too. The E,M,R,7,N,W are right by the front door or across the street, so you can be in midtown in 10 minutes. The management and staff are GREAT, so friendly and responsive.

I had a very disappointing experience living at this apartment. When our lease ended, the management issued the full security deposit in one single check to one of my roommates — despite the fact that the lease was signed by multiple tenants. That roommate refused to return the deposit share to the rest of us, essentially withholding our money without consent, and the management refused to take any responsibility. We tried to communicate with the leasing office multiple times, but were only told to handle it ourselves in court. No safeguards or procedures were in place to protect tenants in such cases. This has left us feeling helpless and financially harmed. To make matters worse, the same roommate also brought in her elderly grandmother — who was not on the lease — to live in the apartment for over five months without our consent, and the management turned a blind eye. Overall, the management’s lack of accountability and unwillingness to properly enforce lease agreements or protect tenants’ rights is extremely concerning.

I had an amazing time living at ALTA+ for the last three years. The proximity to the train station, rent-stabilized, responsive management team, amazing/friendly front desk staff, top amenities (you get the typical gym, indoor pool, golf simulator, lounge and BBQ. Group fitness classes. Tons of community events. Great value vs other LIC buildings) Very smooth move in and move out experience. No package loss. Food/insta cart/weee delivery to the door. The trash room is cleaned daily and I was very lucky that all my neighbors had good manners — didn’t trash the trash room. The studio I lived in is very very spacious. Higher floor with an unbeatable Manhattan view with in unit washer/dryer. I was initially worried about the noise, but the double or triple panel window proved me wrong. I can’t hear anything when the window is closed. Highly recommended ALTA+ to anyone who needs to daily commute to Manhattan. Big shoutout to Chris and Brandon!!

I lived here for 2.5 years. Overall, the living experience is good. The area is close to the train station. The management team, doorman, and the maintenance people are very responsive. However, I wanted to raise the big issue about the transition of the property. The building co-living part was previously managed by Commons. Later on, Dermont took over the whole building. Even when I was still during my co-living lease with Alta, the management shorted our lease period out of blue. I was supposed to end my co-living lease in October but had to resign the single lease in May (5 months earlier) with a higher rent. Me and my roommate pays our rent separately previously. When we signed the single lease, the management was not transparent about the rent issue they faced from my roommate. I was later on be informed that my roommate has not been paying her rent each month diligently. It ended up with the fact that now I have to move out the building because my roommate's rent issue. Despite my consistent and timely rent payments, the lack of communication and the mismanagement of my roommate's payment issues have put me in an unfair position. This has caused significant inconvenience and stress, ultimately leading to my move-out. I hope that in the future, the management will take steps to ensure smoother transitions and clearer communication with tenants to avoid similar issues. Overall, while my experience living here had many positive aspects, the handling of this situation has been a significant drawback.

I lived here for over 3 years and it has been a great experience. The common area is clean and well maintained. I especially enjoyed working out and using the pool. Events were well planned and always a new experience. The front door staff are so kind, shout out to Chris, Brandon and Linda. The management staff were very helpful explaining the entire move-out process. Overall, would recommend this apartment complex to all of my friends.
