I wish I could give zero stars. I was promised a fully serviced, high-quality apartment for nearly $5,000 USD/month, but what I actually received was shocking: • A broken hot water heater that rained hot brown water into the flooded bathroom. Fine. Leaks happen, but due to an incompetent cleaner, I spent 3 days showering at Barry’s. • Additional leaks, peeling wallpaper, scratched flooring, and damaged, painted over furniture that were never disclosed. The painted over furniture flaked everywhere and ruined items I put on the dining room table. • Repeated no-shows and late arrivals from maintenance and cleaning staff, despite me confirming narrow time windows and missing work to accommodate them. • The “deep cleaning” consisted of someone fluffing pillows while leaving the bathroom dirty and unusable. • To make matters worse, I was overcharged by more than 1,500 AED/month compared to what I was originally quoted. Every time I raised these issues, I got apologies, reschedules, and excuses — but no real resolution. I have now escalated to RERA and Dubai’s Rental Dispute Center because this is more than bad service, it’s false advertising and a breach of contract. If you’re considering Blueground in Dubai, be warned: what you see in the photos is not what you’ll get, and once you’re locked into a lease, they’ll drag their feet on every complaint. There are plenty of reputable landlords and serviced apartment providers in Dubai — save yourself the money and the stress.

We had a very good experience renting an apartment for 6 months through Blueground. Communication with them was very good at all stages of our stay. I needed an engineer to fix the AC and it was quickly done. I would happily rent through Blueground again.

Amazing experience! The apartment is fantastic, well furnished and with everything you need for long stays. On top it has an incredible view Marina. Lastly, the assistance is top notch! Super responsive and very supportive.

Our experience with StayShort was terrible and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. We rented the apartment from StayShort on the blueground website. The apartment we rented in Dubai had a bed bug infestation, which made the stay unhygienic and stressful. We immediately reported the issue and provided photo evidence (attached). They did a deep cleaning but the bugs came back. Then they brought the pest control in and we were forced to leave the apartment for hours, only to come back to a strong chemical smell and still find bed bugs after a few days. We asked for a proper solution or relocation, but instead the agency promised a 15% refund to keep us from leaving. We trusted them and stayed. It’s now been over two months, they have been LYING about processing the refund, but no refund has been issued, and they’ve started completely ignoring all our messages. We paid for a safe, clean apartment and got the opposite – unsanitary conditions, exposure to toxic chemicals, and zero accountability from the agency. This company is dishonest and unprofessional. They knowingly left us in an infested apartment under false promises and are now refusing to deal with us. Avoid StayShort at all costs.

Not a reliable service I don't recommend them. If you extend your stay for any reason they will double the rate from 7K per month to 12K per month + 2.1K booking fee for a studio. At this rate you get 1or 2 bedrooms in Index tower DIFC ! Think twice before you choose them. I had to change my plans because of such service. I reported this to Dubai DED and tourism.

2 stays at the Burj Daman residences in Dubai . 3202 was very dusty when checking in , had bugs in the dark sofa , gaps in kitchen ceiling board where small roaches fell from, broken skirting . Informed Blueground who offered to fumigate the property in our last week there . Would any guests want repair and fumigation done in their short stay ? We thought it’s unfortunately a one off bad experience so we rented another time - now . Before checking in we were led to book a different unit with a different link . We informed them before checking in that it’s only got one toilet and we would like a different unit . It’s summer in dubai so off season and plenty of supply . But we were not allowed except if we paid a punitive relocating fee even tho we haven’t moved in . So we said we’ll live. But apt has no working wifi , no working phone for local calls and no tv ! It’s Day 5 and still no solution . Customer care /client experience gave wifi provider my number instead of dealing with it themselves . Calls from Du frustrated our whole Friday night till 1AM numerous calls with troubleshooting and circular questions, no authority to answer them because we are only renting and so NO solution still. The non functional apartments by Blueground aside , the Burj Daman has nice common amenities (Not managed by Blueground) the - pool gym and lobby are lovely. I would not rent from Blueground if I can help it . Or hope you are lucky to choose a functional , bug free apartment with working wifi.
