I found this hostel to be quite pleasant and relaxing. There is a beautiful garden space in the back with chairs and a picnic table. One chair even swings. The Manager is very very nice and is available for chats into the evening some nights. He also cooks a traditional Hungarian meal for the guests every little while. I enjoyed the fellowship of unique people that came through the hostel as well. He has a volunteer program as well where people can help out with helping guests, cleaning, and making of beds etc in exchange for free accommodation. Only a few spots are available at any one time. This hostel feels like a family and is quite quiet even though it is in the city. The kitchen is very nicely set up as well. There is also a nice veranda that gets sun a lot of the day.

The best place to stay around Budapest. The garden is amazing. I met incredible people during my stay and I felt at home. See you soon :))))

Very peacefull, silent, safe, clean home. staff is helpful and friendly. You can come here as single, couple or family. I parked my car in front of hostel, free. I recommend 100%. (Just learn how to reach to place before come, becouse a little far from old town center)

It is a bit far from the Center but that's no problem because you can easily drive by bus. The Garden is really beautiful and perfect if you need a day to just relax and take a little Break from exploring. The people working here are very nice and friendly.

One of the best chill hostel in Budapest. If was like my home away from home . The place have chill vibes and there is a metro which takes you to city centre . A beautiful garden and the host is so nice. Highly recommended ❤️

I know how tiring it is to read through hundreds of evaluations in order to decide which hostel to choose when you set off to your next adventures. If you are looking for a hidden oasis, yet very close to one of the hotspots of Budapest, they got you covered! Not only the venue is unbeatable, but also most of the people who stay in this co-living space, are open to cultural exchange and meaningful conversations, so if you are a traveller, this hostel is a match for you :) One of the things you are going to love about the Garden Hostel, is the atmosphere and the nature, they even have a hedgehog :)) I'm not going to say that it's a luxury five-star-hotel, but if you want fair conditions, hit that booking button, I promise you won't regret it!

AVOID. RUN. NO NOT BOOK. Unfortunately the owner is not maintaining the hostel. At all. It’s a beautiful property, but the beds smell of sweat & the pillows are destroyed. It is nonfunctional for the one purpose of a hostel- a bed for a night.
