It is not only the best coliving in the world for lots of us, but also home for some of us. The connection with people can be easy to built and the ambiance is warm and fun. The facilities are perfect: well equipped and CLEAN kitchen, the coworking with call room and screen. The rooms are so cozy. If you also like mountains and outdoor sports, this is THE coliving that you don’t want to miss. Thank you J&J, for creating this adventure and home for all of us.

In September 2022, Jelena, the host, tried to make me pay more than other guests would have for my past stay — by making me pay for each reservation of a longer stay individually and not applying the reductions they would have applied to such cases. She wanted me to pay 600+€ more (it was not clear how much) without justifying this. To me the problem was a matter of principle: we were going to follow the rules. When I refused to be treated differently than others, she cancelled my upcoming reservation (which I had booked two months prior, at the end of a three months’ stay, and which Jelena was very happy about at that time). When I started discussing this with other people from CC on Slack in private messages, she removed me from Slack, stopped all communication with me and took me off the email list. In effect, she took it into her own hands to ban me from the space. There is nothing I did to her. I was never disrespectful to her or to anyone else at CC. It was just an issue about the price I had to pay: I obviously wanted to follow the rules as laid out online, as applied to all others and as every other coliving was applying, and to Jelena that was unacceptable. Joey was compliant. To be clear, there are many great things about the hosts, Jelena and Joey. And I believe they are both good people. While I was there, the people, the community and the house were fantastic. Almost everyone I got along well with, very much including Jelena. But that was an unfortunate incident, and the fact they never apologised for it in any way afterwards, but, on the contrary, doubled down on their aggression and silent treatment, was regrettable. The intentional reputation destruction can quickly become next-level: I saw it happen to at least one other while I was there. So, be wary of Jelena’s anger and intolerance as it might cost you a long-planned reservation and happy times at CC. But if you can sidestep this, it’s definitely one of the best colivings, and in that case I couldn’t recommend CC and its people more highly.

Cloud Citadel is one of the best coliving and coworkings I stayed at. Enjoying spring / off season in the Alps is really underrated, there are so many activities to do! The couple Jelena and Joe who runs the Cloud are just outstanding people. They create such a nice atmosphere and are really good of including everyone and put a nice vibe to the house. Briancon has so much to offer! I can really recommend to go there off season! I believe that I have met people that will stay in my heart forever and some friends for life!

Hidden gem just a short distance from the ski resort, Cloud Citadel is a delightful find. Whether you're seeking a cozy escape or a vibrant social atmosphere, this place offers something for everyone. The charming atmosphere extends beyond the beautiful house itself, with nice bars and restaurants nearby. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the mountains.

I stayed at Cloud Citadel for 3 months and had an amazing experience. Many details make this place very special: a cozy house that feels like home, a very caring community, great organization, and owners Jelena & Joe who pour so much love into all of it. This is the dream place for mountain lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and people people. It’s for everyone who enjoys giving and sharing space, food and experiences with other great humans. On top of it all, the cozy coworking space and the mountain window view scenery will inspire you to get some productive work done that will make your boss or business happy. I honestly cannot think of one thing not to love about this place. Simply put: I loved this place, and so will you.

I spent 6 weeks in Cloud Citadel starting in October and every day felt like opening 10 years worth of Christmas presents at once. I met some amazing and inspiring people, got to do some of the best running/climbing/cycling/skiing of my life, and (I think thanks to being very happy and slightly physically tired) I had a lot of productive work time too. Jelena and Joé pay so much attention to detail it’s impossible not to feel comfortable and cared for from day one

From the moment I set foot in Cloud Citadel, I was taken aback by the exceptional coliving space, nestled among magnificent mountain peaks, offering breathtaking views from every window. The cleanliness and organization are impeccable, making it evident that attention to detail is a priority here. The community atmosphere is akin to a family, where everyone is welcome and included. Living at Cloud Citadel has been an unparalleled experience. The house exudes warmth and coziness, with ample common spaces that invite residents to relax and socialize. The kitchen is not only well equipped but also the heart of the house, where culinary magic happens daily. The workout room, laundry facilities, light-filled dining area, and the supremely comfortable chill room have all been designed with the comfort and needs of the community in mind. The coworking facilities are top-notch, with blazing-fast WiFi, comfortable chairs, and additional screens for those who need them. The flexibility to choose between a quiet area or a more dynamic space allows for personalized work environments, and the call room is a much-appreciated feature for private conversations. But what truly sets Cloud Citadel apart are the hosts, whose dedication and involvement with the house activities are nothing short of incredible. They are the heartbeat of this place, ensuring that the array of activities keeps everyone engaged and entertained. For those looking for the best coliving experience, look no further. Cloud Citadel is not just a place to stay; it's a vibrant community to be a part of, a nurturing space to work, and a peaceful sanctuary to call home. I cannot recommend it enough; it's the best coliving experience I've ever had.

Amazing community with very kind, thoughtful owners who put a ton of care and detail into the house. Tons is provided for, including equipment to do different outdoor activities, a massive array of communal spices and condiments in the kitchen, and tons of planned outings and activities to get to know your housemate. I recommend Cloud Citidal to anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful location, nestled in the gorgeous natural scenery of the French Alps and meet like-minded people.
