Used to be a very nice and comfy place when i was staying in 2019. Due to the previous experience, i made an effort to rent an unit again for a month during this year July when i was visiting Jakarta. To be honest, i regretted. From the day i checked-in, there was no proper check-in process, the place was dirty and the wardrobe door was faulty. In term of facilities, 1. it no longer have shared kitchen cooking utensils, 2. the billard table was terrible and billard poles are poorly-maintained 3.there was a table-tennis table with no table-tennis racket and balls, 4. Cinema room was locked and no longer available 5. Aircon was not on in common area due to no batteries in the remote control 6.Laundry room's power was down at one time and i was unable to access level 42 for alternative laundry room despite the fact that the access card was supposed to allow me to access that level. I understood that there is a new Operations Manager Jansen who had took over from the previous manager. I think it is a true reflection on how to ruin a business through incompetent management. Compared to the previous team, for the entire month i had never see Jansen in West Vista. The only thing he did was to only briefly whatsapp me after i had complained certain stuffs to the housekeeping team. On one of the weekday, i was shocked to see a centipede in my room on level 41. I tried to ask Jansen for help, he told me there is housekeeping team around. After i tried to whatsapp the housekeeping team, they told me they had left. I related the similar information to Jansen who told he will check. In the end, he never get back to me at all. Me as a tourist/visitor in Jakarta, i was left helpless in a studio room with a centipede which had sneaked behind the cabinet. There was no follow up and not even an alternative solution was offered to me. End up i have to went down to security to ask to borrow a broom and broom pan. With my best effort, i had to shift the cabinet and swept the centipede into the broom pan and bring it down for security to help me to clear. To be honest, even a budget hotel would have done better. Cohive Coliving Space was meant to be a fabulous business concept to bring professionals together. Currently under Jansen, i will rate this place similar to a one star hotel. Finally the last part is on the returning of the deposit. I had attempted to email to follow up with the marketing guy Adi. After two weeks, there was no reply. Thus I tried to whatsapp Adi and he told me he had already resigned two weeks ago. Before he left , he had informed Jansen about my email and Jansen told him that he will get back to me. Not surprisingly, he did not. After that i whatsapp Jansen who told me he will check with the Finance and get back to me. Even until the day i get back my deposit, there was nothing from him. This so call operations manager is the worst i ever seen in my 15 years of professional career. If u are not passionate about your work or does not have any sense of responsibility, please do not waste your time. My conclusion is I will never rent an apartment unit from Cohive again. Not recommended also.

This is my first experience tried staying in Coliving place in Jakarta . I would say Its a interesting and perfect concept for a business traveler and the price is consider cheap and more safety payment method compare renting with local real estate agent . Overall, Good service + afforable price + Nice place .
