Avoid this agency at all costs.. we have been without hot water for 5 days now (in the winter) in my apartment and the heat hasn't worked since we moved in a month ago. Colivy's has not been responding to our calls, emails, etc., for a few days now and seem to ignoring us at this point. They are impossible to get a hold of and in general, seem to not care. Save your money and time, rent through somewhere else EDIT: responding to the team's response. Colivy's did respond to us once 5 days ago, but we have not had any communication since. Additionally, it was their technician who caused the boiler issue rendering us without hot water, and they have not done anything since then to try to fix it despite our numerous calls, emails, etc. This agency is actually terrible. I would be happy to be proven wrong (like if you send someone to fix the hot water and heating... or even just respond to calls and emails)

They are disorganized and they don’t resolve problems that arise in the apartment, I strongly suggest to not use this company to rent your house in Paris

tldr: PLEASE DO NOT RENT WITH THEM. I stayed at their appartment for 4 months. Initially I rented for 6, but because of an error on their side they kicked me out after four months and I had to find another appartment in Paris for 2 months. I was lucky that this happened because the appartment was really badly mantained. With no celing lights in some rooms and radiator falling off the walls because it was not properly mounted. There have been hidden costs everywhere. For example, initially i rented the place for 890€, which magically became 940€ in the contract and the ad on the third party platform was altered after i made my bid on the appartment, which i payed for. I payed a deposit on the third party platform which listed their flat ad, then I got another bill from them that i also payed. I expected this to be the first months rent ( as was written on the third party platform ) but then they charged me another 940€ upon my arrival. I got my deposit back only after repeatetly asking for it and getting in touch with the thrid party by which I rented the place. They subtracted 200€ from my deposit as ADDITIONAL fee for electricity that i allegedly used in the 4 months, which is a completely ridicolous amount, given that they charged for electricity in the montly rent as well and i was out working most of the time and only charged my laptop once in a while. In total, what i thought was a flat for 890€ a month turned out to be a flat for roundabout 1325€ a month with the extra bills ( (940 "first months rent" + 200 "electricity")/ 4 = 435.0 extracosts per month that I was not expecting to pay). Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company. You really cant make this up. Its an incompetent money making buisness at the expense of foreigners.

Please, whatever you do AVOID COLIVYS!! I normally don't write reviews, but I really don't want other people to fall for this scam of a company. Firstly, they advertise rooms with utilities included in the price. So, I got a room for 600 euros per month in Toulouse thinking I was covered. I paid the 450 euros administrative fees (non-refundable), got the contract and to my absolute shock only 30 euros per month was allocated to utilities. 15 euros of this was variable costs, meaning you only got 50 cents to spend on water, electricity and gas each day!! As you can imagine, overconsumption is unavoidable, and you are left paying hundreds of euros out of your deposit for these utilities' costs. Colivys is aware of this, and this is their trick to get you to pay hundreds of euros extra on top of the ludacris amount of rent you pay for a cheap, IKEA furnished room in an apartment! Then they have the gall to claim that 90% of the tenants don't overconsume but that is impossible, as that would mean each day, you're choosing between taking a shower or cooking one meal to avoid overconsumption. I paid 230 euros out of my deposit for utilities extra, and I only stayed there 3.5 months. One of my roommates stayed 5 months and had to pay more than 400 euros extra. This meant our utilities consumption was around 75 euros per month per person for water, gas and electricity which is a completely normal amount. If they were an honest company, they would allocate a NORMAL amount of money towards utilities, but then they wouldn't get thousands of euros extra from their customers, it is the perfect scam. The cherry on top is their lack of communication. When I checked-in, the concierge was 20 minutes late and when I checked-out, he was a no-show and I ended up waiting 40 minutes for him until I left on my own. They took half of my deposit without informing me and then paid the rest back half a month too late (almost 3 months after I left). They are an incredibly misleading, disingenuous company. They are sneaky and try to milk you dry for every euro you have. A studio is honestly cheaper than sharing a room in an apartment with them. If the website lists a room for 600 euros per month, the actual amount of rent per month will be closer to 750 euros with fees and utilities included. Even if you are desperate for a room, avoid them because you will sorely come to regret it. You will feel like a total idiot afterwards.

It’s been 2 and a half months since I checked out of their apartments and they haven’t refunded my security deposit. I received the etat de lieu stating everything was okay and I have tried contacting them several times for 2 weeks with no response whatsoever.

Very disappointed with Colivys. Before I arrived, they told me that someone came to clean the apartment, but I could see that the job was poorly done. Unfortunately, I was not the only one with this problem. The most recent roommate had to ask Colivys once again to come clean the apartment because she was not satisfied with the apartment's condition upon her arrival. During my stay, more than once we had to contact Colivys because the washing and drying machines weren't working. Recently, we also had problem with the Wi-Fi. The other problem I encountered with them was their lack of assistance and transparency. I gave them over 2 months-notice before I left the apartment, and they still failed to communicate and assist with extra administrative procedure. And in consequence, I had to pay for the month I didn't even stay. Also, my roommate was pressured into paying extra fees that weren't necessary or that were even included in her package. Unfortunately, for the price we pay for a tiny room in the apartment (ex. 850 euros/month for a 10 square meter room), the customer service and overall cleanliness is lacking. If you can afford 850 euros per month in Paris, I suggest you find a better place to stay than with Colivys.

Do not live in one of their co-living situations, they're slumlords who pray off students, foreigners and anyone desperate enough to take one of their rooms. They're unresponsive, will find every way to keep your security deposit and charge for anything they possibly can

I stayed in a Colivys appartment for 3 months and I am very upset about the way Colviys treats their guests. The day when I arrived at the accommodation, we were told the appartment isn't finished yet. A few days before I even called with Colivys and they told me I could move in without saying anything about the state of the appartment. So the rooms were fine but the kitchen wasn't completely installed yet and many other small things still had to be fixed. I can not understand how the agency didn't tell anything about this beforehand. How can you rent an apparmtent that is not even finished? Funny how I even paid a €600 service fee when they didn't even give the smallest service of giving information about the state of the accommodation. Additonally, there were only two keys available for the five of us staying in the appartment. After arriving, the Colivys agent told us everything would be installed and fixed in maximum three days. The colivys agent in charge of our rooms was Julien, the most unprofessional person I have ever come across. Even though he said he was going to fix everything within three days, the following days Julien only passed by a couple of times to fix a few minor issues. However, we still couldn't use the kitchen and other things like problems with curtains, lights, wifi and blankets that some people didn't receive, still persisted. Also, we only received one extra key meaning we had to share three keys with five people. We kept on contacting Colivys to adress these problems. Especially the fact that we could not cook was very annoying. We had to buy microwave meals or order food which got very expensive. The following weeks Julien only passed by a few times to sort out some smaller problems we were having. He kept on making promises about how everything will be working very soon but he didn't keep those promises at all. It took more than one month for the stove to be installed and the kitchen to be working properly. My roommates and I were obiously upset about this situation so we asked Colviys if we could get a discount on the rent of that month. Their answer was no. All they could do was send someone free of charge to clean the appartment. So we were not happy with that. When I left the accommodation after three months, we still didn't have 5 keys and some issues that we had since the beginning were not fixed. I remeber the very first day when I arrived, Julien said something about a problem with my curtains. During the three months I kept on contacting Julien and Colviys about this issue. The day I left, it still wasn't solved. Overall, terrible service and exteremely unprofessional behaviour. More than two months after leaving the accommodation, I still hadn't received my deposit. I had to contact them myself in order to get it back. In conclusion, Colicys is a horrible agency.
