UPDATE: CP Residences is likely going to go bankrupt. I made a claim with the Small Claims Tribunal but a few days before the court date, they filed for judicial management trying to give the appearance that they would pay what they owed through the system. But that would have only been possible if their assets are greater than their liabilities. At this point it doesn't seem to be the case. ---- This group is so bad..... it hurts. If I could give negative stars I would. We handed over the apartment on 18 December 2023 and up to now we still have not received the refund on our deposit. It has been more than 3 months. They even requested 2 months to wait for the electricity bills to come in and we agreed... but after that when the final refund amount was sent in more there was no reply from a Mr. Warren... I have been chasing for 6 weeks... they finally asked for some details and it has been 2 weeks since we gave them the information they needed for a transfer and not only have they NOT transferred there is ZERO RESPONSE. This is just on the refund process... but that is not even to talk about how badly maintained their places are. When we first moved in there was mold and mildew. Even though they did send someone down to do an initial scrub they didn't really want to deal with the root of the issue. Then upon renewal – we actually had a signed agreement for a 1 year extension but they just did not hold to their word and only gave us 9 months – citing very questionable explanations... and basically putting us in limbo. The only saving grace on this was in those 9 months we discovered just how horrible they were and were glad to leave. For background, when we first moved in some things in the house were broken but they just said that was they way it was. We decided to accept it because the location was convenient. That was not the end of the issues... the power would just suddenly trip inside of the unit. Despite reporting it many times, they didn't really fix it. Then on top of that - construction works happen THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. You can hear loud jack hammering for MONTHS - almost our entire stay.... this is likely due do the fact that the repair works are done in the mall which cannot have works done during the day. Works will be happening at midnight, 2AM, 3AM, etc. Then the kicker is that at some point, even during the day, as early as 6/7AM the unit above us would have some drilling works.... it is just ironic how bad everything is. But what really got us was when the FRONT DOOR just FELL OFF LIKE A DRAWBRIDGE.... we asked for help because clearly this was not a wear and tear thing – who rents out a place without a FRONT DOOR. But they said that it was on us to repair it.... we were appalled at the response. First of all the front door is very heavy and could have injured myself or our dogs had it not been my husband who was there when it happened. Secondly... it is the FRONT DOOR... they did not even bother to send anyone to help... how do we live in a house without a front door?!?!?!?! But they did not care. I am right now still chasing them down for my rental deposit. I am still receiving no response and to be honest, I am just a little short of chasing them down in the Small Claims Tribunal. CP Residences, if you are reading this... you need to do right by your customers... don't just hold their deposit when your own people have confirmed that we actually left your place cleaner and better than when it was handed over to us and that we deserve our deposit back.

I have exactly the same story to tell as the other people on this chain. I have only had contact from Warren Chew until he stopped replying around 7 weeks ago after sending the credit note late. The list of people with SG Small Court Claims against there is here: https://www.judiciary.gov.sg/hearing-list The owner of this business, Wendy Yap, also owns another brand called Hovoh who also deal with Warren Chew, I would recommend visiting their website and calling them. This is disgusting to leave so many people owed money.

[ALERT] Apartment was nice but after 3 months rental, they cannot refund the deposit even after 8 weeks stated in the tenancy agreement. The company is going through some financial issue and also never come out to explain to the us. Only one person Mr Warren replied via whatsapp but after that, there's no more update as well. Until now there's no credit note from Finance, there's no refund of deposit $6500. I even mentioned I am open to receive deposit refund via installment as I do understand sometimes company run into cash flow problem. However there's no update from them at all. Given the mention date of Mr Warren's promise until 10 Apr, after that I will be filing SCC against the company. Be careful all the current tenant, not sure if you can get back your deposit :(

This place is shabby as a start. I rented it for 3 months in Oct - Dec 2023. The doors, windows and sofa are in a bad state. The worst is they did not refund me my deposit on the 60th day after my move out date on 13 December 2023! Despite calling them and writing to them, a MR WARREN called me and "instructed" his Finance Department to pay me on 29th February based on a credit note but it is already 1st March and I still did not receive my deposit refund! I called up the Management office and a Ms Irene mentioned they cannot help even though they know who is the owner of unit #0659. She advised me to go to Small Claims Court to recover my money. I am sharing with everyone here to avoid #0659 and avoid CP Residences altogether because this is definitely a scam! Very dishonest people even though it is a signed agreement. I will also lodge a police report and put up my claims to SMALL CLAIMS COURT!

The Centrepoint Apartment Co-Living has the perfect location in Singapore. Close to all the shops at Centrepoint mall, the MRT only 5’ away and directly on Orchard Road. I hasd 2 flatmates, which was super nice. The kitchen is spacious, equipped with everything you need (even a rice cooker). There is a pool and 24h security. I felt so at home!! There is a cleaning service coming in 1x week. I was assisted perfectly during my stay!
