No room cleaning, no room slippers, the room wall at 302 was so thin that you could hear the neighbor room easily. The noises and food smell from the street can easily get inside the room. With this room rate you can find a better room.

Young man graciously found a room for me even though I arrived before 9am! They accepted tax payment via CC instead of the preferred cash payment. Decent room. Quiet.

The hotel looks nice and matches the photos, and the location is very convenient. However, cleanliness is an issue. Even after requesting housekeeping, they did not clean the room, even though it’s supposed to be included in what you pay for. I see many feedback about this as well and it looks like it is not being taken any action. Another downside is that other 4-star hotels in the area offer free lounge access, but here, they charge per hour. For the price of this hotel, they should be more generous with their services. Overall, while the design and location are good, the lack of cleanliness and extra charges make the stay less enjoyable.

It's a really good hotel. The location is very convenient and it's close to the metro and near the centre of Tsim Sha Tsui. The room is spacious not many you can find in Hong Kong, they have room for 4 people or one family which is nice too. The service was nice and quick, very friendly

The room is small, but that’s what you get in Hong Kong. We booked on the day off, so the price was decent. The area is amazing and convenient to everything. Would 100% come back here again.

Disclaimer: This is an honest review based on MY recent stay in this hotel. We may not have the same experience as we have different view in things. The building for me is not that old. The facility is well maintaimed. PROS: ** Spacious room - we got the family room with 2 queen beds ** No unwanted smell ** There are: - Cabinets - Clothes hangers - Iron and ironing board - Safe - Mini fridge - Tables and chairs - Hair dryer - Extension cord - Kettle - Mugs for coffee - Cup for brushing teeth - Toilet and tissue papers - shampoo, conditioner and hand wash ** Towels are provided and being replaced everyday ** Trash are collected everyday ** Hot and cold shower ** Lots of resto outside ** There's a Mcdo just beside the hotel ** Lots of 7/11 and other convenience store ** Few minutes away from the train and bus station ** Few minutes away from the Chungking Mansion, Avenue of Stars, K11 Musea and other tourist attraction in the area ** 24hr frontdesk ** Can leave the luggage before check in or after check out CONS ** No security deposit but we paid 150 HK dollar for tax - which was not disclosed in Agoda ** No slippers provided - the floor is not carpeted so it's very cold on the feet when walking around. ** No rug outside the bathroom door - water gets on the floor outside after using the toilet ** No bidet ** No daily housekeeping - only replaces towels and collect trash. Since we stayed for 5 days, we keep coming in and out so automatic the floor got dirty. Would be okay if there was a broom for us to clean the room ourselves. ** No water provided - small guesthouses offers water dispencer for their guests. This hotel does not even provide water in bottles ** There's a flat screen TV but no English channels. Worthless. Just a wall decoration. ** We avail the Family room because we are 4 adult, but the mug provided was only 2 ** They have a lounge but you have to pay extra to be able to use it. We even paid 70 HK Dollars just to use their microwave. I mean, we already paid a sum of money for the hotel and they cannot let us use the microwave to reheat a couple of our meal? ** Unfriendly staff - does not smile, don't know how to say thank you or you're welcome. No emotion at all. The hotel is okay, since after a long walk touring the country, we were able to rest comfortably. However, it felt like people working in this hotel only wants to earn money and does not really care about their customers.

This property completely falls below expectations. The lack of amenities, poor service quality, subpar room standards, and inadequate facilities make it unworthy of being listed as a 4-star hotel on Agoda, especially as it was recognized as a “Top Choice” in 2024. After clarifying with Agoda, I discovered that this isn’t even a proper hotel—it’s classified as an “apartment hotel” or “hotel residence,” combining apartment-style living with hotel-like services. However, there’s no actual “service” here. How is this property listed in the hotel category? Agoda clearly isn’t doing enough quality control. There’s no designated taxi stand, making it unnecessarily difficult to call a cab. You must repeatedly clarify your location (e.g., "Dash, across Oasis") to drivers, especially if you’re carrying multiple suitcases. No doorman or staff is available to assist with luggage, so you’re left dragging your bags to a nearby taxi stand—or your room—on your own. The property claims to withhold amenities like bottled water and disposable plastic items for environmental reasons, citing the Product Eco-responsibility Ordinance (April 2024). However, other hotels in Hong Kong still offer sustainable alternatives like canned water, cotton pads, razors, bamboo slippers, bamboo combs, tea bags, instant coffee, or refillable toothpaste. Here, you get absolutely nothing unless you pay extra. There’s no daily cleaning service—not due to sustainability, but clearly as a cost-cutting measure. To make matters worse, there are no functioning heaters in the rooms, despite Hong Kong’s cold winters. Heaters are expensive to operate, so don’t count on this changing anytime soon (I stayed in January 2025). The rooms are poorly insulated. You can hear loud noises from neighboring rooms—imagine trying to sleep while your neighbors are talking loudly or using a hair dryer late at night. Adding to the frustration, there’s no telephone in the room to report issues. I had to physically go downstairs to complain. The concierge is only available until 10 PM, so I was left to address a noise complaint with the security guard. After the guard helped tone down the noise from one neighbor, another neighbor started making noise. I was too tired to investigate or report the issue again. The security guard didn’t even mention that I could contact them via WhatsApp after assisting me earlier. Agoda lists telephones as an amenity, so this misrepresentation feels deceptive. On my second night, the room was freezing because there was no functioning heater. The security guard showed no initiative to help. I had to repeatedly ask for extra blankets, and even then, I had to carry them to my room myself. This level of service is completely unacceptable. The staff is unprofessional and untrained. Concierge employees were casually dressed in hoodies and displayed complete indifference to guest needs. Again, they are using low-quality staff to cut costs. It’s evident from past reviews that these issues have persisted without much improvement. This raises serious concerns about how the property was awarded a 4-star classification or even recognized as a top choice by Agoda travelers in 2024. According to Agoda, the ratings are self-reported by the property or provided by a third party—not necessarily an official hotel rating organization. How can travelers trust such a system? Thankfully, Agoda issued a partial refund—10% from the property and 15% from Agoda—but securing this refund was a frustrating and slow process. I had to repeatedly follow up with Agoda as they attempted to call me on a number outside my region, which could have incurred roaming charges had I answered. Even after I ignored their calls, they failed to email me or update my case in the system. I had to contact multiple Agoda agents just to resolve the issue. A 50% refund would have been more appropriate, given the false advertising, freezing room conditions, poor soundproofing, and lack of basic services. This experience has taught me to thoroughly read reviews before booking any accommodation.
