I'm their tenant from 2020. Their service getting worse day by day. They came the contract 4+4 but they raise the price every year and take money for an already registered 4+4 contract which means they dont pay 200€ each year for the 4year contract. Moreover its been 2 winters that we almost have no heating and they just postpone the situation and saying it's a problem from central heating while they have atleast 3 apartment in the same building and they do nothing. And when we have heating it's not working in weekend and holidays. There's no sense of responsibility or at least compensation for this situation. If you ask why I'm still living in this place is because I'm passing a hard working period not having time to search and move out. Otherwise there are better options in the market with worthy price and services.

I had a very good experience in using DoveVivo especially as an, international student, right from the house hunting process down to when I had to leave the apartment. It was very easy to navigate through their website and I had no trouble making a booking through their site. They were very quick to reply as well on any queries I had which I greatly appreciate, although I do encourage to call them directly instead of through email as the response is much faster. My Italian is quite poor so I was very grateful that they had operators that spoke English as well. And it was very nice that they had the option of viewing the apartment online (through video) incase you’re abroad while searching for an apartment, which was the case for me. Everything was done very systematically after the booking process and DoveVivo was very transparent on the payment breakdown. Overall my stay at the apartment and my experience with DoveVivo was extremely comfortable and I would 11/10 recommend using DoveVivo for apartment hunting! :) I hope this review is helpful!

My experience with DoveVivo has been really bad. In my case, I had to use the app to book the check out at the end of my contract. There was no option to just do the check out, the only options included terminating the contract and checking out. And be careful, once you click one of them there is no turning back. With one click you automatically renew the contract and terminate it, and they will charge you over 1000€ for that. So, when it benefits them you can renew a contract by just one click. Instead if they want to increase the rent, they will follow the proper rules and contact you to sign a new contract. 0 help from the customer service. They even joke about your situation and the money you lost. Maybe if you speak native italian you can spot all these traps beforehand, but for those of you who do not, I strongly advice to avoid this agency.

It looks like a flexible agency where you can book remotely and easily an accommodation. But they will steal from you at every occasion they have: I arrived after half of the month so I could pay only half of it (yeah you don't pay in percentage of the days you spent but for the entire half month) and they still managed to make the contract start at the beginning of the month so I had to pay the whole of it. Even a repeated tentative to contact them, I only received a poor laconic answer that I had to pay. If you add the 500€ fees of the (very poor) cleaning/"administrative work", I would strongly advise you to choose DoveVivo as a last resort if you don't find anything else.

My experience with DoveVivo has been the worst possible and I’m thankful I could end my contract. I left this agency relieved thinking my problems ended but apparently they kept haunting me and won’t give my 2000 euros deposit back. I have left the place a month ago and I still didn’t receive it. It was supposed to come automatically but it didn’t and now they told me I have to wait another 10 days, which is an absurd, considering a bank transfer doesn’t take longer than 3 days. So please don’t rent with them. I know I should have waited to give this review when I got my money but I honestly don’t care anymore and I will make sure to make as many updates as possible until I might need to reach the police.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I stayed in bologna for 4 months and I think the apartment was the worst experience I had. First when I arrived after a few hours of travel the person that checked me in forgot the key of the main entrance. I had to wait until the day after without being able to leave the apartment to get a key. But they didn’t bring the key to me ! I had to go to their office which was on the other side of the city. Secondly, when I arrived the whole apartment was full with garbage dirty pans and the bathroom was so dirty I wasn’t able to shower before cleaning everything. I understand that the people living there need to clean but some control would be appreciated we pay 250 euros for a check in, you could at least also see if the rest of the apartment is decent. For the check out the person responsible to get my keys and check the room didn’t show up on time I waited one hour until I called and said I needed to leave. Finally, the apartment was in bad conditions, the room was okey, but the bathroom was full of fungus the kitchens table was with fungus (which we complained about). It’s just unhealthy to live like that !!!!! There were only 4 plates 4 deep plates and 4 small plates I don’t know if dodvevivo wants us to share everything we use but I don’t think it’s appropriate. Again this is a problem of control I really expect with the amount of money we pay for the apartment a bit more back. People really tried to help in dovevivo but these simple changes are not difficult to implement, it is a matter of better organization and understanding. I wouldn’t rent another apartment or room here. I see and heard a lot of complains about the company it would maybe be good to do something with the feedback.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY (ROME) A complete scam, seem professional and legit but don’t be fooled like I was. €700 deposit plus €225 “check in fee” paid when I signed the contract along with a months rent of €750. I was there for 3 months I had to leave due to unforeseen circumstances one month before my contract was up, they wanted me to pay over €600 for the pleasure of LEAVING and we’re going to keep my €700 deposit on TOP of that. I found multiple replacements for the room but most backed out due to their shady contract (not my problem), they are now threatening to sue me if I don’t pay them €425. They still have my €700 deposit. I was not aware of the €425 exit fee as this was only stated in the Italian contract (I’m Irish and don’t speak Italian- they knew this) and was not stated in the English contract I requested. This was not verbally made known to me in person upon signing the contract either. So for 3 months tenancy at their average apartment, I’ve paid them €3,175. Absolute joke of a company YET they still want €425 on top of this. Worst company and people I’ve ever come across, please save yourselves the anxiety and financial stress of NOT using this scam company. PS I was willing to part with my €700 as a penalty for leaving a month early but now the fact that they are threatening me with court if I don't pay the additional €424, it’s been taken to another level.

SCAM ALERT! they will make everything to attract new customers but once you are in a contract with them they will never attend to your appartement requests and they will start charging mysterious 100 euros extras without telling you why? In addition in our flat we had been without internet for 1 month, we had no fridge for almost 3 months just as an example so if you want to avoid drama just rent somewhere else. beware if you are international student that's where the profit from they usually charge higher to international students! now you know! be safe out there. ✌🏽
