I moved out on 31.07.24 and still waiting for my deposit to come back. When I moved out, I was told that my deposit is going to be returned in 15 working days. Today is 05.09 and they still haven’t returned it. As well, Dovevivo is almost impossible to reach and communicate, their answers take a couple of hours, sometimes they can also ignore you. There is also no number where you can call for this issue. Very poor service. If I am not going to get my money by the end of September I’m going to take legal actions.

Avoid them at all costs! Terrible experience, terrible customer support and scammer attitude and behavior. 0 stars! I was a tenant at Via Espinase in Milano for 8 months and then transferred to a new apartment hosted by them in Via Giorgio Briano for 2 more months. When talking to the agent about the transfer we made a deal and agreed that instead of paying 2 check out fees for both apartments, they will discount the check out fee for the first apartment and deduct only 225 euros (a single check out fee) from my security deposit after closing the contract. When I got back the security deposit, I only got back 720 euros instead of 965 euros (1190 security deposit - 225 check out fee) that I was supposed to get back. I tried contacting them and at first waited for 3 weeks for a response while providing them with concrete proof and screenshots from the WhatsApp conversation with their agent where he clearly states that the check out fee for the first apartment will be discounted. Additionally I clearly wrote each expense and again, asked the agent if the final amount that I will receive after closing the contract will be 965 euros to which he gave a positive answer and cleared my doubts. They finally responded to my complaints but without really explaining anything but only saying that the first check out fee can’t be discounted even though I gave them multiple screenshots that show their agent stating the opposite. I will definitely not be trusting them again and will advise anyone that’s interested in their properties to be careful and not get scammed. This company is an absolute joke and very unprofessional.

It’s the second day of living in one of Dovevivo apartment and they already forced me to clean up all the shared areas highlighting it that they RECEIVED notification regarding the lack of cleanliness!! And threaten with laws and signing a treaty. Yes by the article 4 tenants must KEEP the property in good order. But it doesn’t mean we are obligated to RECIEVE the apartment with lack of cleanliness. Two young students PHYSICALLY could not make such a mess in 1-2 days after check in. It’s funny and horrible at the same time! Feels like a group of men lived here for a while and haven’t cleaned up in years. Call the cleaning service back, or get your money back for these services. P.s. it’s not even our items on the shelves. we are for a healthy lifestyle

Responses are quick and the room is of decent quality. Only big downside is that they sneak an extra month to my contract making me pay for a full extra month. Off course it is my mistake to not check this but the fact that they willingly add the month shows what kind of company they are. The cancellation terms are terrible, even if I want to alter the end terms 6 months beforehand. and they completely overcharge administrative costs(225 for check-in which is just handing over the keys and then 225 again for the check-out).

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Dovevivo. The communication is extremely complicated, and it feels impossible to get a response from anyone. I tried reaching out multiple times, but nobody ever gets back to you. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with such poor customer service. To make matters worse, they took an extra month's rent from me without any explanation or justification. I feel like I’ve been completely ripped off, and there's no way to resolve it because they simply don’t communicate. This has been a huge financial hit, and the lack of support only adds to the stress. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from Dovevivo. They are not trustworthy, and you risk losing your money just like I did. It’s been a nightmare dealing with them, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal. Be very careful and think twice before using their services!

(Update :They never came back to me as they said in the reply to this comment and I was indeed charged 1500€) Hello, I should have consulted the reviews before choosing Dovevivo. Having booked my room online from abroad, it was the most convenient way to find accommodation in Italy. The quick check-in only concerned my room, and I was shocked to discover the deplorable state of the rest of the apartment. Having lived in shared flats in several countries, I'd never encountered such a level of filth: overflowing garbage cans for weeks, an unbearable smell, a horribly dirty fridge, and a bathroom that was simply unusable because of the dirt. On top of this, one of the flatmates was listening to music with his girlfriend until 1am on weekdays. Despite my complaints, the agency was adamant and informed me that leaving the contract early would cost me 1.5 months' rent + a cancellation fee of €225. The proposed solution was to send a cleaning agency at the tenants' expense, which I did. Unfortunately, this made sharing difficult, and the apartment quickly became dirty again, as I wasn't in a position to clean for 5 people who were very unconcerned about their hygiene. In addition, other problems arose. One of the showers had become unusable due to a broken shower head. The agency's intervention also led to the opening of a window that could not be closed, resulting in extreme cold in the middle of winter. Some of the previous tenants' belongings remained in the apartment, with cupboards full of dirty sheets and comforters, and even a blood-stained pillow, causing an intolerable smell in the corridors. Faced with these unbearable conditions, I had no choice but to leave and break the contract. Dovevivo told me that they would do a complete check of the apartment at check-out to verify the actual condition of the apartment. However, on that day, the person in charge was completely unaware of my problems and refused to check the condition of the rest of the apartment (just my room). The agency then said that I had no proof of what I was saying about the other problems. This is by far the worst agency experience I've ever had. In the end, I was charged €1,500 to stay 10 days in an apartment as you can see in the photos, and I had to deal with people who made absolutely no attempt to understand the problem and who didn't hesitate to charge me. After a month in Milan, I realize that I'm far from being the only one to have had this kind of problem, which is a real shame, considering that most of the people who use Dovevivo are young people who don't necessarily have a lot of money to lose.

FRAUDS! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL ROB YOU!!!!!! I cannot stress enough , do NOT use this company. As soon as arriving in my apartment, I wanted to leave. It was FILTHY, the hot water didn't work, the toilet did not work and was backed up with faeces. Dead bugs on the wall, the fridge was COVERED in green slime and stank to high heaven. The secure door DID NOT CLOSE and this apartment was also in one of the roughest areas in Milan, so it was NOT safe, breaking all sorts of rental laws because the place was not suitable for habitation. As soon as I entered, I called the emergency line CONTINUOUSLY as I wanted OUT of the apartment, they keep ignoring my demands and saying they would phone back to sort something out and they never did. After two months, I left as I could not stand the cold water, 1 toilet between 5 people (more when the flatmates frequently had guests) and not feeling safe using the communal door as it was always open and could be penetrated by ANYONE. They took my deposit which I allowed them to keep on the basis that they do not EVER contact me again, as they broke so many laws and I lived in squalor for 2 months while I had to find something else. They have now just taken 813 euros out of my bank account, no warning, no nothing and left me with 9 euros to pay my bills. I made peace with them keeping my deposit for the illegal conditions they provided, now robbing me of a further 813 euros, I have had enough and will be taking them to court for the entire amount plus damages.

I'm their tenant from 2020. Their service getting worse day by day. They came the contract 4+4 but they raise the price every year and take money for an already registered 4+4 contract which means they dont pay 200€ each year for the 4year contract. Moreover its been 2 winters that we almost have no heating and they just postpone the situation and saying it's a problem from central heating while they have atleast 3 apartment in the same building and they do nothing. And when we have heating it's not working in weekend and holidays. There's no sense of responsibility or at least compensation for this situation. If you ask why I'm still living in this place is because I'm passing a hard working period not having time to search and move out. Otherwise there are better options in the market with worthy price and services.
