The ambiance in Ecla and the stay for the 3 years was amazing. The stuff was always helpful and eager to help throught the years. The apartment was very beautiful, nicely decorated and the furniture was good quality. During the etat de lieux de sortie the manager Florida helped us and explained the process very well to us. It was really a pleasure being at Ecla.

At the beginnig very convinced and now utterly disappointed. The residence itself has cool things to offer, (working spaces, gym, etc.) and after more than 2 years it was still an enjoyable experience. Well.. until I had to change my room, because of a leak (due to the way the building is constructed). Since then, I only faced one disappointment after another. Not only was it not my fault that I had to be displaced, and this is what" they" have decided is the best solution, make me change the room, but I also had to go through providing millions of new documents and contacting third parties (insurance, etc.), receiving threats and deadlines from the administration of the residence. Furthermore, they have come up with random explanations why they should change my contract to a fixed term of 3 months and charge 40 % more rent. At every step I was threatened and mislead into believing that I don't have any options. It was a very painful process and I actually just told them that there is a leak, thats probaly worth checking. I wish I never did. It all took 4 weeks of arguing and defending myself via email against threats. It is okay to be relocated, however, not only did they displaced me all of a sudden, but they were also not helpful at all and on the contrary, I felt like they were pushing the limits and trying to see where my situation could be used to their advantage. This is immoral. I am bitterly disappointed after so many years of logalty. I had no time to focus on my private life at all, such as an upcoming new job inteview or a French class. Whatever else a normal person needs to do to proceed in life. I was made busy with self defense and answering to threats. I don't know what is on their mind.

The campus territory and the co-living amenities are great, and I am happy to know that they provide a decent hotel service, based on the previous reviews. I've lived here for two weeks only, but the experience has been great! My room is much bigger than it seems from the pictures. The residence is quite modern and everything works very well, compensating for the sometimes unexpected high prices (such as laundry services). I found my room was recently repainted and maintained and was properly accompanied by Florida during the check in. Don't hesitate to ask, since it is a bit complicated to understand every detail. In all, I really love the place and its location.

I lived at Ecla Massy-Palaiseau for 13 months, and overall, it was a positive experience. This residence offers a good environment with plenty of shared workspaces, ensuring you’ll rarely feel bored. The staff deserves special mention for their responsiveness, politeness, and promptness in handling various requests, which made my stay much more comfortable. Although the location is a bit distant from Paris, it’s compensated by being in a clean, pleasant, and safe area, conveniently connected by two RER lines (B and C). Along the route from the RER station, you’ll find plenty of shops, cafes, and bakeries. Recently, a Carrefour opened just a minute away, adding to the convenience. On the downside, the walls in my studio weren’t spotless, showing signs of regular wear. However, the manager took photos during check-in, documenting any existing marks so that I wouldn’t be held responsible. I recommend carefully noting any issues upon arrival and informing the management to avoid potential charges later. Also, the beanbag chairs could use cleaning or updating after tenants move out. It would be nice if the windows were cleaned more frequently than once a season, and I was slightly disappointed by the cost of the final cleaning. Special thanks to Florida, the manager who handled my check-out inspection. She was professional, thorough, and very polite, making the process smooth and transparent. Thank you very much :)

It is impossible to receive an answer to your questions from this residence. I have contacted them a few times, and I have never received complete answers to my questions. I have gone there to ask questions too, but no answer! They cannot even tell you what rooms are available in which direction of the building! Update: I have contacted again the email provided by the ECLA in the reply of this review, and yet no reply from the provided email. I experience not at all a good customer service.
