This is no longer a hotel. It is a college dorm room. No rooms available unless you're a college student.

Google calls this place a "3-star hotel". This place is a budget hostel. Fortunately, I did the research and lowered my standards to the floor before checking in. I would only recommend this place if you are a Northeastern or Berklee student and you need a place to stay for a maximum of one night. I stayed in a private double, and it got the job done. It was pretty warm when I entered the room, and the radiator could be adjusted lower. The window opens super wide, which was helpful because I sleep hot. There was road noise earlier in the night, but it wasn't too big of a deal. The doors are paper-thin, and you should come here tired otherwise, the sound of doors opening down the hall will definitely wake you. The room was basic, which was expected, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness, especially during covid. My sheets and towels seemed clean. I was disappointed that was trash left in the room under the bed and on top of the lockers. The bathroom seemed clean enough (gas station quality with slightly drier floors), but I would not want to use it for more than one day. The woman at the front desk was lovely. The location is good for public transport, but parking is gonna be a challenge for you if you need it. I will also say that I didn't really feel like my stuff was safe in this hostel. The rooms had lockers, but there were no locks (bring your own if you plan to stay for more than a night). Despite being in a private room, I wouldn't have felt comfortable leaving my stuff in the room.

My fiance and I were very hesitant after reading other reviews but we were desperate and all the hotels were out of our budget. We were very concerned about having to share a room with someone else as we have a four month old son traveling with us. We walked in with no reservation, got a way better rate than all the hotels, were given a room to ourselves with a lock on the door much like a hotel and assured no one else would be able to come in. They didn't even require a hold. The room had 2 bunk beds and a locker, much like a college dorm. We had AC, blankets, towels, and pillows. The bed and linens were clean as was the room. We were able to shower in a clean shower and the whole place was super quiet. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and waking up so close to everything was awesome. We will definitely be staying again soon.

It’s exceptional clean, at a great location, with a low price and friendly staff. Now, I’m talking from my experience staying at several hostels across the country. This one so far is one of the cleanest, and it’s very important when you are on the road. Yes, the breakfast is very limited to bread and jelly. But they do offer coffee, orange juice and a microwave. There are also a lot of restaurants around so you will never be hungry. They don’t actually have a kitchen, though, so don’t plan to cook here. The room can get very hot, which I don’t think they can control the heater. I ended up opening the window and it sort of solved the problem. They placed me in a 4 beds room with just another person there, so it’s nice and not too crowded. The housekeeper even left a note said if I need them to make the bed then let them know! There is no other hostels offers to make your bed. You even have to put on the bedding yourself at most places. The price is great and I checked on airbnb and other flat-forms as well. In general, I had a very good stay. Although I don’t plan to come back Boston for other reason, I think this place offers great value if you come here to visit or work for a few days. If you expect a luxury hotel in such an expensive city, you have to find someplace else that charges you at least twice as much. If you travel for experience or with a budget and not too picky, then this place is perfect, so don’t be scared when you read bad reviews.
