HafH Nagasaki SAI is located in the center of Nagasaki, one of the leading tourist destinations in Japan. A space that stimulates creativity by up-and-coming architects, baristas, and book sommeliers. A coworking space surrounded by camping tools that inspire you when you go upstairs. Like Dejima, where foreign cultures and local cultures of Nagasaki once met and created a new climate, foreign students and research students, local students, nomad workers and local people.

First of all, the location of the hostel is excellent. The central location and pleasant surroundings make the stay particularly pleasant. The connection with the café is another plus point that makes the stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation itself was very well organised. Sharing the room with other guests was no problem at all as everyone had their own cabin. The cabin was well equipped with a small table, a lamp and enough space for personal belongings. This made the stay very comfortable. The staff were helpful for the most part, although their English was limited at times. Nevertheless, I was able to communicate well and the availability of translation apps helped a lot. One small area of improvement I can see is the lack of introduction on arrival. It would be helpful if guests were told how to close the door properly and quietly or switch off the light in the evening. I unfortunately had the experience that a lamp in the room was left on for 24 hours, which affected my sleep. A brief introduction to such details could avoid such problems. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my stay at your hostel and even extended it by three nights. I can definitely recommend your hostel, especially because of the quick connection from Hakata Station to the accommodation. Take the Nanakuma Line in the direction of Hashimoto. It's only one stop (Kushida Shrine Station). It takes 2 minutes by train. On foot it would take 15 minutes, which I found quite ok. Thank you very much for the pleasant time in your hostel.I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Such a lovely place and people. I really like the neighbour it's really quiet and beautiful. The capsule room was spacious and with a locker. Shared area clean and had everything you need. Downstairs, there is a cafe with breakfast.

This was the perfect place to stay for a short visit to Nagasaki. From the moment I arrived the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to help us fall in love with Japan (especially Aki and Nao). The beds were super comfortably and the coworkers space was perfect for my needs. Free washer and dryer, amazing amenities all around, and perfect location nearby to the green streetcar line with easy access to so many great restaurants nearby. Very reasonably priced for what felt like such a luxury accommodation. I was struggling to find affordable accommodations last minute during Sakura season, but this place really knocked it out of the park for me.

I stayed at this youth hostel for two days and one night, and I truly enjoyed my time here. The facilities at the hostel were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location of this place is extremely convenient, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

Capsule hotel with unventilated but huge seemingly wooden capsules. There are other rooms as well, which I did not check. I deliberately slept with my head towards the entrance of the capsule, so I don't know if ventilation is an issue. Slept like a log. Very dark after lights out, maybe there should be some soft, dimmed light in the corridor. Breakfast wasn't too too expensive, but it included a lot of things I didn't like, so I didn't get it. Friend got it and enjoyed it, but had to order extra things. Staff was nice, we could store our bags after checkout, while exploring. Price wasn't too bad. They have a very interesting and weird, fun communal area, but we didn't have time to use it.

Great location and service. The room was small but quite enjoyable due to the huge window. The whole building is very nice and stylish. The food (lunch/dinner and breakfast) was very good!! I haven't put 5 star because of one of the staff (all the others were super nice and professional). I initially booked one night and then I contacted them to ask if a late check-in was possible (later than mentioned on the website) and if so, I'd like to book an additional night. I received a message telling me it was possible, and 1h later, another message telling that someone booked the room in the meantime, so it's not possible anymore. I work in hospitality and it's quite strange to me that they didn't at least hold the room 1h, as I clearly mentioned that I was planing to book it. So I had to book another accommodation for the first night. Then, upon check-in, I gave my Japanese driving license (acceptable ID card) and the staff strongly push for me to give my resident card (to check my resident status), while there is not legal reason for that. All the other hotels accept the driving license.

This hostel is absolutely amazing! The design and decor of the common spaces, cafe downstairs and the room is really cool and very modern. The private room itself was really spacious with a comfy double bed, desk space and wardrobe. The shower and toilet area was clean and spacious too. The common space upstairs was absolutely massive, shame we were only able to stay 1 night and not use this space but it's great for hanging out and cooking. The cafe downstairs is really nice too and they had amazing breakfast with great coffee. The staff speak decent English and helped us very well. Location of the hotel is good to, maybe a bit harder to reach with public transport but there's lots of stuff to do and see around here. We'd highly recommend staying here in Nagasaki.
