Joey TAN is the Sales Associate assigned to me when I made the inquiry online before moving to Singapore. She has been very helpful and patient in understanding my requirements, and also responds promptly even out of office hours. I’d certainly recommend her to any one who wants to find a place to stay with Habyt.

I have lived in a Singapore apartment for a long time and I think it is very good both in terms of the environment and the service but there are individual services that are still irritating and there are still responsible staff that make me happy to live here

This is for Habyt at Tiong Bahru. I am not sure how many landlords do Habyt worked for but this Landlord at where we are staying is the worst kind I ever met. Apparently they have passcode to our unit and enter our unit without prior notice. On one incident my wife is at home alone and suddenly 4 men appeared and claim to be landlord and they are here to take some measurements. And 2nd incident was the most absurd. They change the passcode as they like by putting up a notice at the door claiming some financial dispute with Habyt and change our passcode apparently. I was locked out for 2 hours with my poor dog. And Habyt didn't not gave a clear update of the incident and merely an email stating matter resolved. Life and matter is involved here, anyone locked inside the unit without a valid reason is unlawful. Someone could have died inside the unit if needed medical help. No further damage control or whatsoever until I demand a rebate on my rental. A 5% was given that's all. I asked them to keep it and pay the poor technician going around the area changing back 40+ units of passcode to the original before all the tenant came back from work. I'm the unfortunate one wfh and was locked out when I brought my dog for a pee. Take note who the landlord is in the agreement. They are gangster and tyrant in this modern world.

Will be staying in one of their properties for 3 months while my house is under renovation. Jess Tan has been very helpful in accommodating my requests and even replying my messages when it’s past her working hours, which I was not expecting but truly appreciate. Thank you so much, Jess!

Experience with Habyt, APAC was bad. Reached out to enquire regarding unit availability and to find out more, asked regarding possibility on removal of bed which for space, asked about payment. Experience is quite bad, it felt like a pressure focus to lock in the unit compared to actually allowing potential tenants to have a think through before committing. We were comfortable to go with a unit, however the reply from the employee gave us a sour feeling that we decided not to. There was no confirmation of interest through forms that we are supposed to upload our IC/Passport online however he made it seem that we have been taking “too long” of a time to decide. To be frank, even in the market people DO TAKE THEIR TIME to find a unit before locking in. And mind you, it was only a month period, was not even dragged longer than. And we can always tell whether it’s a genuine and positive feeling right? Just felt it’s so focused on locking units in, we’re lucky when we reached out to some friends, were told to look at reviews too. Dodged a bullet! And an update, the employee even wants to “set up a call” to understand more about why we do not wish to proceed. I have also mentioned why we do not wish to engage him! Honestly, wouldn’t recommend at all. Doesn’t feel genuine, thank god for the reviews too!

I'm still in shock that this business is being run this way. I came back home to an eviction notice posted by the police. In the note, it said that the police had entered my apartment and changed the door code because Habyt breached the contract with the owner. I was locked out of my apartment for 3 hours. Habyt didn't even send any proper updates on the situation. They kept apologizing for the inconvenience caused (??). I had my 3-year-old son with me and had to go find the landlord, who happened to live nearby, to beg him to let us in. I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys. I didn't sign a full year contract to potentially be locked out of my apartment again.

Recently had bad experience on job posting by Habyt Singapore. The HR APAC Loh YingHui initially posted for ops manager post but after 1st interview she did not inform and when 2nd interview the VP Ivan tell u the organisation and post is different (position is property manager and report to ops manager and title is manager but doing executive job which current executive handle other matters) when went down for f2f interview. The house keeping mgr and security mgr dont report to ops mgr and report to VP directly. This is really deceiving and unacceptable! When I send in my inquiry with the HR APAC, no reply by her and is very bad service! Hope this review help everyone looking for a job in Habyt Singapore!

If time travel were a thing, I'd zoom back to the day I decided to sign up with Hmlet and tell my younger self to run in the opposite direction. Having spent 5 long years of my life with Hmlet, both as a resident and as an employee, I can candidly say that my experience devolved from being hopeful to utterly horrified. Let me be clear, when I first joined the Hmlet team, it was an amazing ensemble of professionals. Our collective dream was to build an unparalleled co-living experience that valued community, collaboration, and connectivity. But, how the mighty have fallen! The very essence of what made Hmlet special – the factor of community – has eroded, and in its place stands an establishment that seems to prioritize profit over people. From what was once a burgeoning community culture, the essence has gone from bad to worse, almost in tandem with the quality of the service provided. Speaking of service, "appalling" doesn't even begin to cover it. Long gone are the days when Hmlet staff would go above and beyond for its members. Now, it seems that dealing with rude community managers who arbitrarily conjure up ad-hoc rules is the order of the day. It feels less like a community and more like a dictatorship where residents must kowtow to the whims of the overlords. Remember the events that once punctuated Hmlet's calendar? Those delightful social gatherings and mixers that forged friendships and memories? Well, those are a distant memory now, replaced by... well, nothing. The way Hmlet treats its members is not just business-like, it's cold and inhuman. Conversations around renewals are a testament to this. Members, who have devoted years to this community, are treated like disposable items on a store shelf, rather than the lifeblood that keeps the place thriving. The financial dealings are yet another pain point. The arbitrary price hikes, devoid of any logical basis, are infuriating. What's worse are the made-up deadlines for these prices. Setting a date, only to escalate the prices even further post that "deadline", is a manipulative strategy designed solely to induce urgency. It's a deceitful practice, one that's completely out of sync with the ethos of a community-oriented organization. In sum, my 5-year journey with Hmlet, which began with optimism and high hopes, has ended in bitter disappointment, marred by atrocious service and deplorable management. If community, respect, and value for money matter to you, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
