It's our 1st and last stayed at this hotel! We stayed for 3 nights at Tinker Two Type 1 with 2 bedded rooms of 1 queen bed and a super single bed for 3 pax of us, after chck in then we realised there are no complimentary basic items daily such as.. 1. NO complimentary set of dispossable toothbrush. 2. NO hand soap 3. NO shower cap 4. NO sanitary pack 5. NO complimentary of coffee and tea sets. We paid for the bed which is not soft, 1 pillow per pax and no extra. There are NO tv in both rooms. Only at the living room. Lights in every rooms are too deem dark and not bright enough. 3 days we want to apply our make up or wear our hijabs. We have to pull away aside the curtains of our rooms windows and our windows view are opposite the condo which of course it's not privacy at all for us Muslimah. The whole rooms are installed yellow lights. It is dark and not bright enough. Even the corridors are dark in the afternoon. You have to call for GRAB for ur transportation to go Bukit Bintang area, if u dont own a car. There are 2 malls there, a Gateway KL Mall walking distance and the other one nearest at the opposite of the hotel but lack of HALAL FOODS but u have to walk up n down the steep slopes. Not advisable for guests with wheel chairs, big luggages, prams or strollers. There are NO BELLBOYS service to help u with ur luggages at the hotel. NO ROOM SERVICE at all and NO FOODS OR DRINKS VENDING MACHINES which stated at the hotel facilities. The CAFE below only open for morning breakfast 6am-1030am and at 2pm open counter to serve u Grab N Go foods like sandwiches, pastries, hot and cold drinks only and NO DINING in the CAFE! The morning breakfast is very so so.. not so many varieties and 3 morning we went down for our breakfast we found fruit flies around the fruits and salad bar. The foods are not warm enough. The roti canai is hard and hard to chew. Curry potato is sweet. The Indo young lady staff who serves the omellette and waffles are not very friendly. I requested for an extra crispy waffles as my daughter loves crispy waffle by it's own. But she told me off, "it's all the same, cannot request". During that time there are NO guests around or queuing for it and all the waffles had none on the serving plate. Which im sure i could request for a crispy ones. I'M VERY DISSAPOINTED! I had stayed so many hotels in Malaysia and I am not a fussy or a complaint guest. But this type of staff and service u gave. You will lose ur guests slowly. You already lost us. Will not come back for sure. This spoiled our 1st short trip to KL mood of the year 2026!

This is like residency-hotel with minimum hotel-like service but overall good for what I paid for. I booked one night for solo stay. Room is very tiny but pretty fine for one person. There's no bin or amenities, only tissue, body soap, mugs, and a kettle. Breakfast was better than I expected, kudos to egg station girl who handled nonstop orders very well. Location is surrounded many restaurants and a mall. You can access to local restaurants (more Chinese cuisines) just Infront of entrance. There's Anytime fitness nearby so it's also a plus for me. If you stay around 5days in KL you might wanna consider this place for a cost effective option. It's a bit far from touristy area but neighbourhood is relatively safe comparing to Pasar Seni and KL sentral.

Overall, it was a really nice stay at Komune Living. The facilities were great, they have a swimming pool, gym, and even a gaming room. The location is also very convenient and easy to access via public transport. We also received a discount for parking during checkout, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially En Izhar. I was handling arrangements for a large group and had many questions, and he was very patient and supportive throughout. Kudos to him for the excellent service!

I am writing this review while currently staying at the hotel. I have stayed here a few times previously, as it was recommended by friends who also regularly choose this hotel when visiting Kuala Lumpur. Overall, the rooms are generally well maintained. One point to note is that the shower design tends to wet the entire bathroom area. During this stay, I encountered an issue that I had not experienced before. The hotel provides only one towel per guest for single occupancy rooms. As I had opted out of housekeeping for privacy reasons, I requested an additional towel for the duration of my two-night stay. I was informed that additional towels were not provided and that disposable towels were available for purchase instead. This was surprising, as I have stayed here on multiple occasions (including bookings made under a friend’s name) and had not encountered this policy previously. When I asked whether this was a new policy, I was told that this is the hotel’s standard policy. If so, this would benefit from being stated more clearly in the hotel’s terms and amenities listing, as it is not something guests would typically expect from a hotel stay. Requesting one additional towel for a multi-night stay did not seem unreasonable, and this experience gave the impression of a more budget-oriented service approach. While this may be acceptable for a one-night stay, it fell short of my expectations based on previous visits. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this property and would not recommend it to friends who are considering accommodation in Kuala Lumpur.

It’s like a nicer budget hotel. Nothing to complain about the room. Understandable with the price and limited space. Check in take time. I tried check in machine but they’re not working. It would be so much helpful if the machine can be used. Check in take time sedikit. Then masuk bilik, elektrik pula tiada 😵‍💫 so tired with little kid and malam already. I almost went hijau due to frustration and fatigue. However kudos to Jass that assist us. Very polite and reliable. Thank you :) definitely will come back later to try out the facilities as this trip is a medical trip so yeah.

Think of Komune Living as student housing rather than a hotel. That way your expectations will be reasonable. If you're a low-maintenance, independently minded traveller or just staying for a short time, then you could probably make Komune Living work because the price really is very good. All the key elements are there, but nothing is in perfect working order: it's classic 2-3 star accommodation. First, the positives: the pool and the location are unbeatable. The pool was always quiet enough for swimming lengths at sunrise, with an unforgettable view across the city. You're also surrounded by food courts with supermarkets and two LRT stations are within easy, weather-protected reach on foot (Universiti through shopping centers, Kerinchi via a footbridge). The area remains safe and lively until well after dark, but there is a lot of heavy construction traffic during the day. Within the hotel, nearly every detail managed to disappoint. Sleep quality is low due to outside noise, mainly the trains and slamming doors. The shower drain was clogged and the toilet leaked. The internet was slow and unreliable. The room smells of drains if you turn off the aircon. Sometimes housekeeping removed the towels. A kitchenette in the room is a waste of space as no appliances, crockery or utensils are provided. No apps in the smart TV worked. You can't work in the room because the desk is too shallow for an 11" laptop and the low stool is uncomfortable. There are no power outlets beside the bed. The communal living area was grubby, loud and in a poor state of repair. I could go on, but you get the picture. The gym looks great in photos, but doesn't seem so generously equipped when you think that the hotel has 640 rooms and enjoys consistently high occupancy - in other words, the gym is always overcrowded. You might not believe it when looking at the photos attached to this review, but they were all taken at 3am. In general queues are part of everything here, especially at reception, the elevators, the breakfast buffet.

The stay was comfortable overall, but the elevator system was extremely frustrating. It took us nearly 15 minutes just to go down during checkout. Despite having six elevators, the dispatch algorithm seemed highly inefficient. For example, while an elevator was already available on the 11th floor, the system instead routed a fully loaded elevator from B3 to serve us on the 12th floor. This made no practical sense and caused significant delays. Quite disappointing for an otherwise pleasant stay.

Komune Living rooms are more than what we can expect. Very neat and Clean. Breakfast is too good. All options we can have Vegetarian and Non-Vegeterian. Internet service feels bit slow after couple of days but overall it's great place to live with family or single as well. Amenities are always well maintained. Gym, Gaming, Swimming pool, Kitchen and Community area and Prayer area all managed and such a cooperative staff. Can't forget their service and food.
