I have stayed in this hotel twice. So far, my experience has been pleasant and hassle-free. I enjoy using the swimming pool at the top floor, especially in the morning where I get to see a nice view of some parts of the city. Overall, it was pleasant stay.

First time staying at Komune Living. The price is affordable and although the room is small, it’s clean and comfortable. Check-in was very easy with the machine. If you’re on a lower floor, you might hear the LRT passing by. Breakfast buffet is decent, and the location is very convenient. It just a short walk to SouthLink for a quick meal before work. Facilities include a small gym and pool, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a good value stay.

The staff at the counter right now at the moment today 26/9/2025 10:45pm is VERY RUDE. I’m only asking for taking room card left at counter. He is like “Miss, can you queue at the back? Everyone here is queuing.” This is very unprofessional behaviour. I understand that everyone here is queued so I stepped back as I think EVERYTHING SHOULD BE QUEUED INCLUDING INFORMATION ASKING. Then another group of girls apparently looks beautiful and better then me came to ask WITHOUT QUEUING then he responded well? How’s that two side of difference? I guess he might need my information for taking card that’s making me difference from asking information? BUT NO! He just gave me the card. And what’s the point of being so rude at that moment? Please gave me a proper explanation.

A good hotel. Nothing too excellent. Not too near kl city centre, yet not too far. Was near the event location I was headed too so that’s good. The toilet door or my room didn’t have a lock and it kept sliding open by itself but it didn’t bother me cos I stayed alone. There’s a mall opposite but not much food choices there.

The hotel is super aesthetic and pretty, with plenty of facilities. Cleanliness was okay, air-cond was cold, and the bed was comfy. But the room was quite small — even with just two people, it felt a bit cramped. The toilet was small too, but clean, so no big issue. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking. I knew it was paid parking, but I had no idea we could get the RM6 rate instead of RM12. During check-in, the receptionist didn’t tell us we had to go to the counter to claim the hotel guest rate before exiting. So for 3 days and 2 nights, we ended up paying RM12 each time we went out — total RM36 for parking! Only during check-out did they tell us how it actually works. Kinda disappointing, but at least they apologized. Would I stay again? Probably not. The in-and-out parking process was too much of a hassle.

Very worst experience Extreme slow lift, 5 lifts there but we've been waited for 15mins for lift. We need to validate tng card every time when we go out, priced at rm6 each entry. Housekeeping came at 9am even do not disturb sign is on. Rubbish need to throw on our own, as after housekeeping our rubbish still on the table.

Pretty shocked to see so many good reviews of this place. If you’re like me and looking for a long term stay, skip this place and just get an Airbnb. Currently here, two weeks into my stay of several months, and any money I saved by choosing this hotel was spent purchasing cleaning supplies - mold killers, deodorizers, etc. Shower and underside of sink was full of mold, room smelled humid (probably because the windows don’t open and not very well ventilated), walls have not been cleaned, etc. BTW housekeeping is only once a week, and you don’t get new towels unless you literally go to the front desk and ask… The place is also not well-equipped for a long term stay. You have a fridge and kitchenette (no stove) in the room, but you have to request a microwave and there are zero plates or utensils or cooking tools - I had to go all the way to Mid Valley Mall to purchase. Community kitchen needs to be booked the day before, and is stocked with only the bare minimum and is dirty. As mentioned the windows don’t open and it’s poorly ventilated so I’m currently airing out my room by propping the door open with a stool. I’ve been having headaches and even got violently sick yesterday, likely due to mild exposure. The laundry room is also a mess; the token machine breaks down every few days and the washers & dryers eat your tokens and don’t start consistently. I reported it to the front desk, who took my phone number so the manager could contact me, but they never did. I’m here remote working, and the WiFi and cellular connection is so bad, I had to purchase a monthly plan for the coworking space on the second floor. If you’re only staying for a few days, this place might be suitable, but digital nomads & long stay folks - just get the Airbnb, all of the extra costs necessary just to be remotely comfortable here are just NOT worth it.

Best location ever if you want to visit KL and area surrounding, convenient is the word. Hotel cleanliness is something to praise, no in room coffee or drinking water bottles provided though but can refill from the water dispenser that ready at each floor corridor. However, bad is the LRT railway is too near and it is very noisy. Especially at 6am, can’t really sleep over 7am due to the noise. Maybe rooms that facing another side will be better.
