I have lived at L Logan Square for 2+ years now and I want to highlight how much I have appreciated Nedra Johnson, the property manager. She is friendly, quick to respond, and honest in communication. Nedra significantly improves the living experience in this building and is a pleasure to have around. I am thankful to have her managing the building!

I visited and moved in during February 2023, excited upcoming upgrades in the networking space, gym, dog area with a washing station and outdoor space, and even a vertical garden outside my window. However, I'm disappointed that these upgrades, promised to start in May 2023, have not been started yet, so who knows when it will be done. This “upgrades” were completely misleading, don’t let them fool you. It's important to be aware of this before considering this place for its amenities, they offer something but is not really happening. If you own a dog, make sure to check out the designated dog area. I have a dog myself, but I’ve never taken him there because it consistently has an unpleasant odor, and I’m concerned about how hygienic is for my pet. In case you're considering renting an apartment here, I'd advise against choosing one located above the Taproom Navigator on the 2nd floor. Despite what Peak Properties claims about sound not traveling much, it's not accurate. You can hear both the music and people's conversations through the vents, even after the supposed "quiet enjoyment" hours (which are meant to be until 10 pm). This rule seems to apply to the apartment but not to the bar, which can be disruptive, and it’s actually affecting our daily lives. Although we had issues with the building, I must say that the property manager and maintenance team, Nedra and Carlos, have consistently provided excellent service, always being attentive and ready to offer support when needed

When my boyfriend and I were first moving in we didn't know what to expect because the reviews about the management from the last few years were extremely poor. We had a great experience when Ross gave us our showing and decided to see how the new management would be. Although there were some hiccups our first few weeks living here with the old management, our experience completely changed with the new management team. Nedra, the property manager, is absolutely amazing. She has truly taken care of us and made this place feel like home. The maintenance team is also great, but what's better is that we've never had any maintenance or appliance issues in this building. The building is regularly cleaned and the team is constantly making improvements. If you're looking for a sign to apply, this is it.

Admittedly, I just moved in, but Nedra (property manager) and Carlos (chief engineer) have been SUPER responsive and insanely helpful - going absolutely above and beyond to help and solve a small mix-up with my unit to get me moved in on time. Coming from another similar building in the area, the L Logan team is much more responsive and caring than my last building. Not to mention I love my unit. Lots of closet space, airy and light, and incredibly peaceful and quiet for a large building. If things continue this smoothly I will be here a long time!

Have been a resident here for a few years now, and as other reviews have pointed out, no team has compared to the Jake/Edmund/Chris era. I would be willing to bet each of them knew every resident by name. When ownership changed in the fall of 2021, there was a different management group every couple of months, one of which did not even make any of their staff known to the residents-however they were kind enough to send plenty of “anonymous” emails regarding instructions for rent payments. As the building fell into disrepair, so did the relation between residents and staff. The current management team that we’ve had for a while now has been working to address the problems that have resulted from the many changes in building management over the last year, and I appreciate that. While it’s nothing compared to what it was a few years ago, I would say they are generally doing a decent job. Nedra in particular has been quick to respond to any issues and get things done. I hope they can continue to make improvements and bring back that cozy feeling this building had in the past. As for the building, having a unit that faces away from the “L” train, noise is never an issue and the location is convenient. Having a taproom downstairs is great. The walls are decent at muffling noise from neighbor units (except for the bathrooms that share a wall and oddly enough the same vent..). Pet owners are responsible most of the time and the building feels clean and secure. The package room works well when carriers feel like making deliveries in it. The appliances and fixtures within the units are mediocre (aside from the washer/dryer and shower) but as rental prices are increasing in the area, you can now find high-rises in or around downtown with way more amenities, better appliances, and pizazz for the same price. Overall I would say that I have had an okay experience at this property. If things keep going the way they are now, it could definitely be worth the investment as a tenant. As with everywhere else, there is room for improvement.

September 2022: We moved in last month and have seen the dramatic improvement in the property since Nedra from Peak Properties has taken over. She is fantastic. Responsive, friendly, and focused on solving problems. So happy she is here to make this place a home.

do NOT live here - while the apartment itself is nice, the property management company is HORRIBLE, like the ABSOLUTELY worst. They over charge, don't review billing, and don't respond to emails in a timely manner. Very unsatisfied by the lack of professionalism within the management company.
