Hello, friends! In May 2021, we participated in the Melnitsa volunteer program. I'll try to briefly describe what it was like and what this place is like. How to participate: Find melnitsa.space on Instagram, fill out an application, and wait for confirmation. The guys responded to me pretty quickly, even though I came with my dog and asked a lot of questions. What is this place: a former farm (?) where grain was once ground, which is constantly evolving and hosts new creative projects on its premises. How to get there: commuter train to Tarusskaya station (from Kurskaya) takes about 2.5 hours; ticket price is about 300 rubles + 10 minutes by taxi from the station to Melnitsa. Why go: Firstly, any volunteer activity involves helping: with your hands, feet, talent, creativity. Whatever you're willing to share! Balance is maintained by a very warm welcome, absolute empathy, where everyone is equal, and, of course, the natural beauty and fresh air are truly replenishing and provide an opportunity to "recharge." Meet new people, learn new, super-delicious recipes from the magical Olya, discuss the solar panel system with Sergey, or enjoy the grace of the horses, live in a cube-house, and lie in a hammock. What to bring: personal hygiene items, a sleeping bag (if the weather is not so great), an inflatable mattress, and rubber boots. This place is absolutely worth visiting and immersing yourself in. I sincerely wish the entire family living at Melnitsa that their four-leaf clover will blossom and bloom! We look forward to visiting again next year.

An interesting place. It's a pity that it has fallen into disrepair and looks like it will soon "end" completely.

A very original, tastefully decorated eco-friendly place. Friendly hospitable hosts

Fully worthy of a 1-star rating. The price/quality ratio was astounding, if not downright infuriating. Dirt, unsanitary conditions, lack of basic amenities. More than a little uncomfortable. A completely unfinished concept. It has nothing to do with the art space. Perhaps the owners' underwear is drying in plain sight. It's clear that the owners are media communications specialists with no experience in hospitality. They're clearly not up to the job.

A very nice place with nice hosts, thanks to them it has its own atmosphere, you could say its own soul. Amazing breakfasts from farm products. The premises themselves are made in the loft style, but somehow very unobtrusively. The feeling that you are somewhere in Europe.
