I had a wonderful experience at MyCO Living in Valencia! The apartments are modern, fully equipped, and located in some of the best neighborhoods in the city. Everything was clean, comfortable, and ready for me to move in without any stress. What makes MyCO special is not just the housing but the community atmosphere. The staff are friendly, responsive, and always willing to help, and the coliving concept makes it easy to meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy Valencia together. The location is perfect—close to cafés, restaurants, cultural spots, and public transport. I especially appreciated the flexible contracts and all-inclusive services (utilities, WiFi, cleaning), which made my stay very convenient. I highly recommend MyCO Living to digital nomads, students, or anyone looking for a comfortable, flexible, and social place to live in Valencia. I’ll definitely come back!

I stayed here for over a month, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The check-in process was very quick and smooth. The apartment itself is wonderful, and the location is absolutely ideal. The management team was the highlight – they were incredibly responsive and helpful, promptly resolving any issues and going above and beyond to accommodate my needs, especially regarding payment flexibility. I am truly grateful for that. This stay significantly enhanced my overall experience in Spain and Valencia. Thank you for everything!

Misleading process – guests should be warned. I booked this listing via Airbnb less than 30 days before check-in — a last-minute booking. Although everything looked fine initially, I was soon sent a private 27 page ( !! ) contract and asked to transfer a security deposit to a personal account outside the platform. This was only mentioned in the additional rules — not presented clearly or transparently before payment. The biggest issue? Since the host had already received the money and refused to refund it, I was essentially forced to accept the contract just to avoid losing my payment. This puts all the power in the host’s hands and leaves guests trapped — it feels like a contractually legal scam. When I raised concerns, the host stopped replying altogether — a pattern that seems to recur based on other guest reviews. (You can verify this by asking ChatGPT to run a deep search: “reviews MyCo Living across all rental platforms”.) After several stressful days of negotiation, Airbnb finally refunded me — not thanks to MyCo Living, but after I escalated the case repeatedly. This kind of setup is unethical and manipulative. A contract should never come after a payment, especially not with new conditions and external money transfers. I strongly advise others to stay away — unless you're fully comfortable with unclear terms and off-platform dealings.

MyCO Living is advertised as the first “co-living” in the city, but be aware: it’s more like a basic shared apartment facilitator than a true co-living community. If you’re expecting shared social spaces and organic community like in most co-livings, you’ll probably be disappointed. Not all buildings have common areas; in my building there was nothing besides the hallway, which the contract called a “common space.” I assumed that contractual language meant the kitchen/living room would be cleaned regularly, but in reality, in-apartment cleaning is only monthly (if that, my roommate reported longer lapses), and cleanings were usually delayed. The WhatsApp group is the main “community,” and while sometimes helpful (updates during power outages, elevator breakdowns, etc), it’s hit or miss. Your social experience really depends on who’s in the group and how much you put into it. The “co-working” space is just the manager’s office across the street, open limited hours, and often closed. Management is friendly, but honestly, pretty disorganized and bureaucratic. I experienced and overheard lots of complaints. Multiple people told me rent payments got lost, or management was slow/confused about issues. When I got locked out, the backup key was an old one and didn’t work. In my first apartment, the AC was broken and took time to fix (eventually it was sorted, hooray). The bedroom fan also had to be replaced. I later moved to another unit because of other issues; in that one, the dishwasher was broken. They did replace it, but overall, quality control was lacking and maintenance was more reactive than proactive. The apartments are mostly furnished with IKEA basics. Some things are okay, but some things feel pretty cheap and plastic. I did appreciate having a washing machine. Be prepared to buy or request basic things you’d expect (missing utensils, a place to hang towels, mixing bowl, oven mitts, etc). I ended up wasting a lot of money on things I’d have expected, like an extension cord. They will gladly replace or provide some things if you push and are specific, but you may have to ask repeatedly. Roommate experience is a gamble. Unlike true co-living where you have a big shared group, here you usually just have 1-3 roommates, so your experience (and cleanliness) depends a lot on them. Contract is long (20+ pages), full of rules and multiple documents with detailed info; read it carefully because there are lots of fees and policies. You wire your money to a bank account with a different name, and your deposit is held a full month beyond checkout (though mine was returned 4 days late with no heads up). They also charge for things like checking in on weekends, overnight guests, and have strict guest policies. Be ready for paperwork and “nickel and diming,” though it’s not all enforced. Someone in another apartment complained about a security camera in their living room, which sounded invasive. Upon move-in you get a starter kit of sheets (replaced monthly, otherwise DIY) and a mini cleaning kit, though I had to ask for mine. Despite paying extra for weekend check-in my room was delivered in unacceptable condition, so they cleaned again during the week. Location varies by building. My apartment’s location was fantastic: walkable and central. They were flexible and professional when I needed to move, which I appreciated, and they even offered me a studio after I had issues. Be warned: AC is usually only in the living room, so in summer bedrooms can get hot. Management gives a lot of advice on how to ventilate, but it’s not always effective. TL;DR: If you want a short-term, furnished rental in Valencia and aren’t too picky, this works. Just don’t expect a real “co-living” or any guaranteed community. Read the contract carefully, be ready for red tape, and document everything. For me, it worked eventually, but only because I adjusted my expectations and stayed on top of management.

This was the perfect place for me to be. 10-minute walk to all of the wonderful attractions and experiences that Valencia has to offer from Les Arts to Park Turia to the fun neighborhood of Rusafa. Definitely centrally located and a half hour walk to Ayuntamiento. The pictures show but a small summary of all that I enjoyed. Easy ride or walk to both train stations allowed me to visit other parts of Spain. The studio in which I stayed was furnished perfectly, with the cooking area and supplies needed, and overall clean and well lit. The washer and dryer available is a plus (once I figured out how to use it 😉) The staff is magnificent in how they care for the guests. It is definitely a family environment without it being intrusive. Bárbara had wonderful suggestions as to what to do while in Valencia. Alexei responded quickly to any questions and concerns. This was particularly helpful because I was there when the electricity went down. The sense of family and caring for each other was apparent. This is definitely the place I will go back to while in Spain which includes at least 3 months annually.

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Coling Valencia. They acted in a sneaky and unprofessional way, withholding part of my deposit without proper justification. Communication was poor, and they showed no transparency throughout the process. Instead of resolving things fairly, they caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before renting through this agency. There are plenty of more honest and reliable agents in Valencia – avoid Coling Valencia if you want peace of mind.

Buyer beware: Very unorganized and unprofessional agency. I contacted them in mid-December, they confirmed availability for a room in April-May, I sent my passport details and they said they'd get back to me with a contract, probably before Christmas. Fast forward to April and they added me to a WhatsApp group for new arrivals. I thought that was strange as I hadn't signed or paid anything — or received any communication from them in almost four months. I contacted them and they said, 'You have a monthlong stay starting in two days.' They then said they had a strict cancellation policy, expecting me to still come to stay with them, when the only communication I'd received from them was being added to a WhatsApp group. Who would turn up to a monthlong stay at a coliving without having signed anything, paid anything or received any communication from the agency?! And who would run a business and not ensure that their clients have signed something and paid for a room — until the *client* reaches out to them two days before a supposed stay...that they knew nothing about?! Based on obvious unprofessionalism, incompetence, rudeness and attempted gaslighting, I would stay well clear of this accommodation provider. In contrast, I've found the staff at Vivarium to be friendly, honest and responsive.
