The Kensington House was clean and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was enough kitchenware and cleaning supplies, and if something was needed, it was easy to manage. The room had a wardrobe, table, and chairs, and both the fridge and all the plumbing worked well. The only small downside for me was the hair dryer — it was available, but quite weak and took a long time to dry my hair. Overall, a very comfortable and well-equipped place to live.

I wanted live in Bushwick house specifically because of the fireplace facade in the room, and I was so happy to get the exact room I wanted! Love the charm in my room/apartment and loving Bushwick's vibe. Great nightlife and plenty of things to do within walking distance. Honestly, it just made life easier. Zero stress, good vibes.

My room in Maison Jefferson was spacious and well-lit, and the shared spaces were always clean. The backyard was a lovely spot to relax, and the neighborhood had everything I needed within walking distance.

My room had a big window with natural light, a full-size bed, a desk, and a closet—plenty of space for studying and decompressing. Everything was clean when I moved in, and the monthly cleaning service keeps things in good shape. The shared kitchen is well-stocked, and I like that utilities and Wi-Fi are bundled into a single monthly fee. It simplifies everything, especially with a hectic academic schedule.

I moved to New York from overseas and needed a welcoming place to settle in while I found my footing. Choosing Outpost's Bushwick House was honestly one of the best decisions I made. The room was fully furnished, utilities and Wi-Fi were all set up, so I could focus entirely on adjusting to the city and starting work. The apartment was clean, and the people living there were warm and respectful. I appreciated having my own private room but also enjoyed sharing the kitchen and living area—it made it easy to meet new friends without any pressure. There was a woman from France, someone working remotely in tech, and a few others who quickly became friendly faces. We even started attending a nearby yoga class together, which was such a nice way to connect. Bushwick itself is full of energy and creativity, with colorful street art, great food spots, and grocery stores just a short walk away. The Outpost team was super helpful too—always quick to respond, flexible with check-ins, and transparent with no surprise fees. For anyone new to NYC, this kind of supportive community makes all the difference.

I’ve had a great experience living at the Seneca House. The apartment is nice, and the location is good. I just wish there were more community activities to get involved with. But overall, it’s been a positive experience.

The Park Avenue House was the perfect place for my NYC stay. The apartment was cozy, and the location couldn’t be beat—right near all the major attractions and easy access to public transportation. The building was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly. If you’re looking for a place in Manhattan, this location is a great choice.

I stayed at the Greenpoint House for three months with a close friend, and overall, it was a positive experience. The application process was simple, and the sales team was helpful in answering all our questions. Greenpoint itself is such a lively neighborhood with great food and coffee spots—definitely a highlight. The amenities in the house, like the rooftop and gym, made day-to-day life more enjoyable. That said, there were some small issues upon move-in—our shower curtain was old, a window screen was missing, and there were minor scratches on the walls. To their credit, the management team addressed these issues quickly, but it made the move-in process feel slightly less seamless.
