PLAY House was born from the idea of three dreamers from Ecuador, Venezuela and India who crossed paths in Ecuador thanks to Couchsurfing in 2015. Three years after and two continents apart, a house in the middle of the world was the opportunity for others to connect. The space has become a house for cultural exchange, creative expression and playfulness. We advocate and promote women empowerment, gender equality, and sexual diversity through creating safe spaces for artistic expressions, training and networking. Coliving for dn, entrepreneurs, and creatives. We encourage passionated people to connect and showcase their talents, experiences, and ideas from around the world.

I stay here for one year and had an excellent experience staying here! The house is filled with opportunities to meet new people and offers a variety of entertainment options, ensuring both a lively atmosphere and tranquility. The living room is also used as a coliving space, which is perfect for remote work while still being surrounded by good company and high spirits. Having lived in shared accommodations for years, I highly recommend this place! Additionally, the location is fantastic, nestled in the peaceful La Floresta neighborhood, which is abundant with restaurants, cafes, and shops.

I had a wonderful experience here. I rented a private room for about 3.5 months and made incredible friendships. The ambiance of the house is open, friendly, respectful and clean. It's a coworking space with 1 router per floor- perfect for someone who works from home and needs to make video calls. Jessica and Mary who manage the house are really reliable and kind people. La Floresta is a tranquil neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops to check out.

This place is great! The energy is positive and respectful. I stayed two nights-as I was passing through Quito and onward to the coast. The owner went above and beyond by helping me with my vacation logistics- ( I speak very little Spanish) I am so grateful. The bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend Play House.

Love the location and the service. It’s especially great for my work trips to Quito so that I can get work done and still get a good night’s rest.

I loved my time at Play House (1 month and a week in a private room) and would love to go back. The place is comfortable and bright for working, cooking, relaxing etc. and the people I met there were lovely. Good internet. Had some fun times, made some friends, and felt very at home there. N.B. if you stay for a period that is not exactly a whole number of months the extra nights are not charged the pro-rata monthly rate, rather a higher nightly rate. E.g. I paid $260 for the month then 12$/night for the week I stayed after that. Neighbourhood (la floresta) is nice, with nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Laundry can be done for you downstairs for 5$.

A beautiful spot for digital nomads (or anybody really). Great vibes, two lovely coffee shops right next to it and nice facilities.
