The pictures online are false advertising and misleading. Several pictures are not of this location, and many have been photoshopped. I booked a twin bed pod, 2 weeks in advance. Receive email confirmation of twin bed pod booked. On check in day I'm told there is no twin bed pod available, only podettes coffins. I had to sleep in the podette coffin and I hated it. Bait and switch tactics. The podettes Is the size of a coffin literally, 2.5 ft wide, 3 ft tall and 6 ft deep. If you are claustrophobic this will be a nightmare for you to sleep in. The storage lockers service creates a lot of foot traffic. It reminded me of a bus terminal. People will be coming at all hours of the day and night to leave and pick up their luggage. The entire place is the size of a two car garage, its concrete, very cold, no central air or heat. Thus if someone uses the restroom and stinks the entire room stinks. If someone cooks and it smells bad the entire room will smell bad, because there is no exhaust fan to the outside. Drugs were prepared on the dining table and smoked right outside the entrance doors. Alcohol was consumed frequently and open bottles were left all over. There are cockroaches in the restroom. The main entrance doors are left wide open from 10 am to 6 pm, anyone off the street can walk in and they did many times. The staff and management is argumentative, abrasive, defensive, and arrogant. everything is your fault they have done nothing wrong. you are to blame for anything you do not like, asking for anything is like pulling teeth. lights out and quiet hours are not enforced. 10 pods and only 1 bathroom. laundry costs 5 dollars and towels require a 5 dollar deposit. The bunk monitors only work if you have an hdmi port. The type of people I encountered here were homeless, tourists and long term tenants. The dog that lives there was more welcoming and nicer than the staff and management. The bunks have bed bugs, I was bitten multiple times. In conclusion all the latter facts speak for themselves.

Great place to stay if you’re in between apartments or even for just a couple nights! It is located right in the heart of Hollywood near some nice shops and tourist attractions. Chill vibe, friendly and attentive staff, always kept clean. The recording booth is a nice touch for when you need to take a call or an online meeting.

Shared living might seem daunting but the staff are warm and welcoming and the guests are friendly. Great for a short stay or if you're transitioning.

This is by far the best chill vibe, casual, inexpensive way to lodge on your trip to Los Angeles. Centrally located with all public transportation near by. You can cook your own food and everyone there is cool. So safe and well managed. Thanks Podshare!!

Ideal location with so many shops right outside your door, including affordable grocery shopping 5 minute walk away. I stayed here with my bf during vacation and although we didn’t get to know the other patrons closely, they were all friendly and some were even locals housed here for long-term stays. Very nice to see these people treat PodShare like home. The space as welcoming, basic breakfast options were more than enough for us, and the bathroom/kitchen were usually clean (we could see the RA constantly clean up behind less considerate guests). The beds had a pamphlet with a map of the surrounding area with specific shops/restaurants recommended. Overall, we didn’t have high standards due to the price and it being shared lodging, but we got every bang for our bucks. 💯 Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was my favourite hostel during my stay in LA. If you want to check out Hollywood, the hostel is located within walking distance of all the famous places. I'd say the best part of Podshare is the staff. Andrew was a star: always friendly and helpful. He did everything to make sure my stay was comfortable. There was always staff on site, and public spaces were always clean. Everyone I met there was so nice, staff and guests, and what a luxury to be so close to all the sights in Hollywood! If you enjoy hiking, check out Runyon Canyon park. Would stay here again.
