This is not the typical rental experience. Here you are going to live in a hotel that also has its own bakery and when you wake up you will smell that authentic and delicious aroma of freshly baked bread!

Great spot for your stay in Barcelona! Some have commented on the size of the rooms, but things in Europe are always more compact than the states, and my husband and I had no problems getting around the room, sleeping, and unpacking at all! We actually loved this hotel and the fun vibe and decor and the location to all the great things in Barcelona!

We just spent 6 nights at the Hotel Praktik Garden and were happy with it. The room are small, but was adequate for the amount of time we spent in it. We had one with a large balcony, which was great. The elevator was not working a few times, but we didn't mind the stairs. Complimentary coffee and small pastries for breakfast worked for us. Really liked the outdoor seating area with all the plants, you didn't feel like you were in city center.

We had a decent stay at Praktik Garden, rooms were clean and nice, we had a nice balcony and the staff was great. Location is perfect! Cons were that the elevator was out of service most of the time, and sink is outside the bathroom, it’s in the room right across the bed. Also it would be great if we had a little bit more space for storage. In the morning, you can get coffee and muffins in the lounge which is really nice, although it’s only until 10 a.m., would be great if it would be extended until at least noon. Overall, a nice hotel!

The hotel, despite its small size, is located in an undesirable area and does not provide a safe environment at night. During check-in, the price was differ between Expedia and the hotel with around 11 euros extra. The receptionist said she doesn’t know but the price in Expedia was impossible. She said that’s the city tax and we paid with the higher price as we have no choice. However, we contacted Expedia after check-in and Expedia said the listed price already including the tax and hotel should double charge. At this moment, we still waiting for the feedback from Expedia but the rudeness of the staff made a very bad impression. The room was clean, but the bed was unsatisfactory. Two small beds were combined to form a double bed, but there was a significant gap between them, and separate bed sheets were used. The quilts were not enclosed within their covers, which resulted in a messy sleeping experience and significantly impacted the quality of sleep. The reception staff exhibited rude behavior. After checking out in the morning, I returned to the hotel in the evening to inquire about any items I may have left behind in my room. The receptionist casually glanced at me and stated that there were no items found, which is a standard response. I then proceeded to the locker room to retrieve my luggage. At that moment, she informed me that I did not have a booking for that night and that the exit was available. I explained that I needed to retrieve my luggage first, but the receptionist remained unresponsive and turned away. Given the unprofessional attitude of the staff, the subpar sleeping experience, the high price, and the unsafe location, I strongly advise against recommending this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Praktik Garden Hotel in Barcelona. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It was a bit compact, but never felt too small or uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is stylish yet cozy. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. When I first arrived, my Apple Pay was not going through because of a delay in funds transfer, and the front desk staff were gracious enough to let me check in and settle into my room first, with the option to return and pay later. That gesture really set the tone for how welcoming and understanding the team is. The lounge and workroom areas are beautiful and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. The Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay, and the hotel also offers laundry services, which was very convenient. The outdoor deck is especially lovely, filled with greenery and softly lit at night, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day exploring the city. Overall, Praktik Garden is a charming and comfortable stay in a great location. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Barcelona.

The hotel is okay but definitely not worth the price per night. Clear pro is the location which is great as you can walk to pretty much everywhere - very central. However, the hotel room was super tiny even though we booked a room with balcony. The entrance of the hotel smells really bad as there is a toilet on the ground floor and whenever you enter the hotel there is this smell... There is no breakfast except some supermarket mini muffins. Cleaning staff was super loud on a Sunday Morning 8am cleaning the room next door in an extremely loud fashion - waking us up. Just not a really high-quality experience unfortunately.

The only negative part of our experience was leaving as we didn’t want to miss the superb hospitality of Praktik Garden! Victor in particular was very accommodating and helped me arrange a surprise for my fiancée upon our arrival. Location was stellar. Still a little touristy but never overwhelmingly so and easily walkable to some of the best food, drinks, and sights in BCN. Comfy bed, beautiful balcony, never noisy, gregarious staff. Thank you for making my partner’s first visit to Spain a memorable one!

This was a fantastic find for us while we stayed in Barcelona. I was initially concerned with other reviews saying the rooms were small, but for us as a couple they were all we needed. The room was comfortable and had all the space we needed. it was quiet, and even being over top of the street, the noise from the city was hardly noticeable. The garden area, plants throughout the lobby and the access to fresh, filtered hot and cold water was a nice bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. would definitely stay here again if we went back to Barcelona.
