I had a great time staying at the Garden Praktik hotel. My room was perfect, very comfortable bed, very nice bathroom. The room was well insulated (or the other guests were very polite, or both) and I slept really well. I was in a single room which is a small one but perfect for me as I was traveling light. I’d recommend if you have lots of luggages get a bigger room. The tea/coffee room is very nice too and there is also fresh water available h24. Big plus is the terrace, which is beautiful. All the people working there are very professional and friendly. I could even leave my carry on in a locker for free for a few hours after I checked out. I didn’t know when I reserved there how beautiful is the neighborhood where it’s at, it turned out to be my favorite area in Barcelona. The architecture of the buildings is so beautiful and you can walk easily anywhere and if you don’t want to, the metro is just behind the corner. Last but not least, there are tons of great restaurants and nice cafes all around. To sum up, I would go back there 100% and I definitely recommend it!

We have stayed 6 nights in this wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly. You get a very good free coffee in the morning which you can take on the nice terrace. Our superior room had a private terrace and was very quiet. The beds could have been larger (80x100 cm), but were comfortable. The hotel is close to the most interesting places. Bus and metro connections are easy. The environment of the hotel is quiet and safe. There are many shops and restaurants around. It is not so crowded as The Rambla.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it far exceeded my expectations! The room was very clean the hotel is nice and the staff are very friendly. The best part is the location- it is close to lots of shops, restaurants, tourists attractions and there is a train stop 5 minutes away walking. I highly recommend!

This is a wonderful small hotel which we enjoyed before on a previous stay. The neighborhood is great, metro close, wonderful restaurants, etc. And the hotel has a wonderful library/ lounge with an outdoor garden area where they serve coffee and pastries in the morning. We had a room on the fifth floor, which was quiet and overlooked the treetops. A charming stay. We’ll be back.

Enjoyed our stay. Cute hotel that has all the necessities. The positives: nice lounge area with water and coffee and bottles provided. Comfortable beds and safe in room. Location is excellent with plenty of things to do within walking distance. The negatives: We were walked in on TWICE by attendants without knocking. This was very concerning. The front desk didn’t acknowledge it unfortunately. Our water bottles we were given had been used and dirty, which they replaced. The “pastries” is only mini muffins but that is okay. Would consider Praktik again mainly for the price, just maybe not at this property.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms up to date with open, walk-in shower stalls with non-skid flooring. Air conditioning quiet with no drafts or hot/cold spots. Lightning options to suit your needs. Very quiet.

This shouldn’t be a 2 star hotel, but much more! The service is impeccable and the position is amazing, we truly enjoyed the little details such as the free pastries, coffee and water refill, the lounge surrounded by plants, the lockers to keep the luggage safe after checkout and the kindness of the staff. Highly recommended!!
