I am an Erasmus student now finishing my semester. Once I found out I didn't get a place in the dorms, I've tried to look for an affordable room to stay in Munich. Somehow, a person from this company called my phone number and called my personal cell; I was surprised because it was a German number, however, it was a Portuguese person speaking on the other side of the line (my nationality). My mother and I were naive and decided to trust this lady, because we thought a fellow Portuguese would treat us well. Eventually we found a room and paid the fee to be able to get a contract on Habyt (looking back, that is absolutely ridiculous) and paid a big deposit. When I arrived in Munich, I picked up the keys at the designated spot with no problem. However, when I tried to enter my apartment, the keys wouldn't work. We tried every single floor and apartment and even asked the residents there if we had the correct address. Panicking, we decided to call the lady that had helped us in this process. She didn't pick up; Habyt only allows you to speak to people throughout a ticketing service that takes WEEKS to reply. My parents were leaving the following day and I had nowhere to stay and Habyt already had all of my grant. My family and I searched the internet for other phone numbers and we found only one other phone number that also - surprise surprise - didn't pick up the phone. No matter how many tickets I send they say that they will forward my issue to a specific team; I was supposed to enter on April 4th and it is now the 31st of July and I'm leaving the next week. I still don't have my money or real answers. The police didn't seem to take it very seriously either. This has caused me financial and personal stress and I hope no one else ever uses this company to find a place to stay.

For your own good, do not rent from this company or any other location owned by Habyt.

Regrettably, I booked an apartment and trapped in a real shithole for more than 3 months. I was not aware that this Habyt Properties (Medici Living Gmbh) is the Habitat of substandard Indian, Pakistani and Turkish labours. I felt like staying in a slum area, the apartment is overcrowded with dirty and substandard tenants, the toilets and the common areas are always busy and contaminated all day and night. The Indian tenants will start the cooking competition using their disgusting spices and smoky ingredients in the kitchen from early morning till midnight, all the other tenants have to deliberately cough the shit out of them to stop the cookery show. Literally, the Indian tenants will cook you out of the apartment. We need an FFP3 mask to get rid of the foul smell while accessing the dirty and overcrowded common areas and toilets in the apartment. The rental agency do not provide the option to view the apartment before confirming the reservation. In fact, nobody will book this apartment if they allow to do so. It is such a piteous rental agency with lousy tenants and woeful service, the only option to contact them is via email, they don't even know how to revert promptly to the complaints or queries. I didn't like to stay in that hellhole full of such disgusting tenants for even a month. Unfortunately, I had to wait for more than three months to cancel the contract because of the pointless terms and conditions. They did not refund the whole deposit amount and were charging 865 Euros for this sharing apartment that doesn't even worth 300 Euros per month. I have initiated filing complaints and the legal proceedings regarding the overpricing and other violations of terms and conditions. Please don't follow the fake advertisements of this tenth-rate apartment rental agency and get screwed up in their shambles!

I left Quarters in May of 2021, almost 10 moths since and I still have NOT RECEIVED MY DEPOSIT. They are completely ignoring all my endless emails and calls since then. This has also happened to my two there flatmates. They are LIARS, IGNORANT, UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOMPETENT. QUARTERS IS A SCAM. Never rent any flat with this company, THEY ARE THIEVES.

Not even worth one star. You NEVER get any responds, even if it's something important. They are taking your money but don't provide any kind of service which is really disgusting. Definitely NO recommondation!!!!!!!!!! If you're reading this Quarters: I really hope you will answer my emails soon

Sent 30 day notice before departure 2 weeks ago, no response still. Just got charged for another month. ps. No talk about returning the deposit, still waiting for you to the fix the oven (which has been broken for 2 and a half months now). Edit: Changing the review from 1 to 2 star because my deposit was returned, however the oven was never fixed in 3 and a half months of living there.

After written/email agreement from Quarters dated April 2020 about using my deposit to cover the remaing rent....almost two years later, 2022 I get an email/warning charging me for this amount. Did I get my deposit back? No. Why not? I asked you guys in written form Ito cover the remaing rent with this money (deposit). Did you accept? Yes. I have the email. So...Why are you charging me for that then?
