I think Roost Up is a great until something breaks. My roommates and I have been without hot water since the 25th of September 2025. I've put in multiple maintenance tickets and as I'm writing this message still no hot water. Edit as of 30-Sep-25: After speaking with a rep and lots of work on their part, I can happy say things are much better and we were fairly compensated for our troubles. Very communicative and outside of that one issue they are really good about fixing things timely when reported.

I have lived in a RoostUp Apartment for just under a month, and it's been incredible. The apartment is beautiful. My roommates are all great people. Move in was so easy since I didn't need to worry about furniture. The cleaning service is definitely a nice feature. Like most people, I thought the apartment was too good to be true when I came across it on Zillow, but it really is as great as advertised. 10/10 Highly Recommend

Roost up was such a big help to me. Before I moved to Boston I had no idea where to look for a decently priced apartment, I spent days trying to find a good place and found nothing. When I found roost up the amazing customer service helped me find dozens of places in my price range within the hour. I started at a Roostup property for a year. They were super quick to respond to my emails and they addressed any issues immediately. When I first moved in my mini fridge wasn’t working and I put in a maintenance request. They responded to it immediately and when they were unable to fix it they just bought me a new one! All of this happened within 24 hours. Overall great experience with RoostUp. The property was new and clean, my roommates were great and it was super convenient.

Wonderful experience with RoostUp! I moved from out of state and this was the most affordable and convenient option for me to relocate without having to move heavy furniture. The neighborhood is also nice and safe. Roommates are great. Would 10/10 recommend!

I lived in one of their East Boston properties for the summer, and I had a great experience. The pricing, amenities, and included cleaning were hard to beat. Additionally, RoostUp, as a company, was always on top of things with helpful employees and fast response times. Absolutely nothing negative, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them and their services!

I have had the most amazing experience with Roostup. I moved from out of state for a job fresh out of college with a very short notice. I wasn’t finding many good options that met all of my needs. Then I found Roostup. They have apartments within my budget, all the amenities and I felt secure rooming with them from looking through their contracts. As a tenant, they are incredibly responsive to any questions I have had and all maintenance requests I have submitted. The application process was super easy and extremely cost friendly. Plus, I came out of my first apartment ever with the most amazing friendships.

I’ve lived in my RoostUp apartment for about a year and a half. At first it seemed too good to be true, but I took the risk and decided to book a room. It was very simple to move in since it is all inclusive. I didn’t have to deal with setting up utilities and buying furniture. I moved from across the country and wasn’t sure how long I would stay in Boston so the flexible lease was also a plus. There are no hidden fees or high up front costs (no brokers fee or security deposit). Each tenant pays rent separately so you don’t have to financially rely on other people. The management team is responsive and always looking for feedback to make the tenant experience better. Living with roommates can be challenging but RoostUp offers cleaning services which makes it easier. I would recommend RoostUp to students or young professionals looking for a convenient apartment option in Boston.
