I had originally planned to stay here for 3months max, as i was moving around and discovering LA. Now, 12months later, here i am leaving the nest! Sean and Janeen were very accommodating with my stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great spot to meet new friends and explore the Santa Monica area

I stayed here for 3+ months during the summer of 2021. Sean & Jansen are both incredible hosts. Location is perfect and very walkable around Santa Monica. I was able to also meet other incredible like minded people in the community through the social gathering etc. Thanks to you both!

I stayed here for three months (during peak of Covid so was home a lot!) I gotta say, I made some life long friends at this place (in my apartment and the other units as well) that I still talk to every day! It was awesome to meet other people, like me, that were new to the area also. The location is PRIME and on a nice street. You can walk to the beach and Main St (which is my favorite street on the West Side!). You also have a liquor store in walking distance (WHAT UP BILLY) that also sold snacks and some necessities. The actual apartments have a pretty cool set up. And the landlords turned the back garage into a common area which we hung out in all the time and had get togethers. Sean and Janeen are wonderful people who really wanted us all to be happy there! They would even buy us treats sometimes at our get togethers. They are very responsive and always wanting to make the place a great place to live. I am confused on the one star post on here.. I never once smelled smoke in the apartment and never once saw any animals. I would recommend to anyone new to LA looking for an affordable place and wants to make some new friends!

Had a great experience here. Was a nice way for me to start my life in LA since they had everything set up with the coliving. Janeen welcomed me upon arrival with warm greetings and help. Grateful I found this place.

I moved to LA in 2020 and stayed at this spot for 6+ months! I have to say Sean and Janeen (the landlords) are extremely friendly and helpful! They definitely made me feel at home in a new state. From a location perspective, you are in an awesome spot - 15 min walk to the beach, a quick walk to Main St which is full of restaurants, bars and workout classes. House is clean (someone comes weekly) and you don't have to worry about supplies like toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. - all included! Lastly, I made a few lifelong friends - most of the people there are young, fun and social!

Friendly and responsive landlords. I loved the location, pretty inexpensive and you can jog down to the beach and bunch of restaurants without too much effort. Place had a lot of fun roommates that were all pretty young and social, but you could also comfortably stay in your room as easily as you could enjoy some tv shows or make dinner with others. I made friends with everyone there, both in the unit and in the other attached units. Place had enough cookware, and other home amenities to easily move in with just the backpack on my back. Would definitely move back in, and almost did!

I stayed here for a few months in 2020 and again in 2021. The location is amazing and the neighborhood calm. There is not a lot of traffic in the area, so it's possible to ride a bike and walk to the beach. The house is clean and has everything one needs - from bedsheets to kitchen utensils - so moving in from abroad was super easy. Rent payments are done swiftly online and the system accepts foreign cards. This is not always the case in the US, so if you will be coming from abroad you might appreciate this. Janeen and Sean, who run the place, are super friendly, responsive and always ready to help. They agreed to do a virtual tour for me before I arrived, which was very useful. They were extremely kind and offered their full support in solving unusual challenges caused by the pandemic. They are very welcoming and genuinely care about their tenants. I would fully recommend their community house to others.
