I’ve really enjoyed my stay at Nido Carcavelos! The staff especially Catrina, Joana, and Rita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The community vibe, clean facilities, and well-organized services (like package handling and events) make it feel like home. Highly recommend for any student looking for a comfortable and supportive living experience!

The padel noise does not allow to sleep or learn. There is no information about this beforehand. All other things are great - staff is super friendly, everything is clean.

If you are reading this review DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE YOU WILL THANK ME LATER. Nido Residences was a huge disappointment. They advertise a kitchen, but what they provide is a tiny setup that you can’t actually cook in and have no room to store food. My room was basically the width of my wingspan, and at 6'2 I couldn’t even fit in the shower properly. Storage was useless, was not nearly deep enough for any clothes to fit on the shelves without falling off. They advertise they have common areas, all they have is 2 couches and 2 tvs on the main floor (one TV did not even have a remote). There are 5 washing machines for over 200 residents. There is a paddle court and a bar right beside the residence so you hear constant noise all day and late into the night. Overall, the place is cramped, and extremely misrepresented. Absolutely not worth the money.

Great student residence! Clean rooms, secure building, and a friendly atmosphere. The staff is supportive, and the common areas are perfect for studying and socializing. Highly recommend for student living!

I've been living at Smart Studios Carcavelos since September 2024, and it's been a great experience so far. The studios are modern, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable space to live and study. The staff is always friendly, responsive, and professional, which makes daily life smooth and stress-free. The location is excellent — close to the beach, university, grocery stores, and public transport. It's perfect for students who want a balance between study and relaxation. The community is also quite international, which makes it easy to meet new people and feel at home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for safe, convenient, and quality student accommodation in Carcavelos!

Nice place to live in community. Despite being a very recent place they need to be more careful with constant maintenance of the equipments. The noise of the padel club can be a bit disturbing. Very friendly staff and respectful community of residents.

I have lived in this residence for two years now. In terms of cleanliness and quietness, I have no complaints. My room faces the front of the building for reference. You get what is advertised in the room and while the space is quite small, you get used to it pretty quickly. My only issues are the number of washing and drying machines. I feel like 4 (each) is just not enough for the number of people who live in the building, not to mention the fact that on any given occasion, at least one is usually faulty. Another thing is the high increase in rent. In 3 years I've experienced a 22.97% increase in rent, with worsening service. They do this knowing that their target market is foreigners who don't have many options available to them. Other than that, the place is in a nice environment, the gym is an 8-minute walk away, the train station is 14 minutes, the beach is around 18 minutes and the nearest Pingo Doce is about 15 minutes. It's a lovely place to call home. The staff has also been very friendly and helpful so that's nice.
