The Coh is an awesome place to stay if you’re new to Auckland. Great location, comfy rooms, and solid shared spaces like a kitchen, work area, and movie room. What really makes it special is the vibe — super friendly community and the host even puts on a Sunday roast every week. Feels like a home away from home. Would definitely stay over again next time I'm up in Auckland! Thank you Ben! Also shout-out to Adi!

Fantastic accomodation for backpackers, interns, anyone moving to the city for the first time, remote workers etc. Had an amazing experience staying for a month as an intern. Fantastic location with easy walking access to the CBD, and a gorgeous view of the city, harbour and sky tower! High security, clean and updated communal spaces (work, entertainment and chill spaces all provided). Great community, lovely way to meet new people and connect over Sunday house dinner with others. Would definitely stay again, thank you very much!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Coh for a month, and from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into a warm and vibrant community. The house itself is very well maintained, with modern and stylish spaces and a private cinema room. The common areas are thoughtfully designed to encourage interactions while still allowing for personal space when needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the co-working spaces were perfect for remote work. What made this experience truly exceptional was not only the great location (with easy access to public transport, CBD, Newmarket, grocery stores and cafes) and the amazing view towards the Sky tower & Rangitoto Island, but the people—both the friendly and accommodating manager and the diverse, like-minded individuals I had the chance to connect with. There were weekly community dinners, social events, or casual conversations that turned into friendships. Ideal place to stay for digital nomads or someone seeking a dynamic and supportive living environment, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you, Ben & The Coh, for an unforgettable stay!

We spent an incredible three months at the Coh and couldn’t be happier with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The small community vibe, combined with home comforts like a private bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy TV room, and a dedicated office space, made it feel like home. The Coh gave us the perfect balance of comfort and connection, and we truly enjoyed every moment. If you’re ever in Auckland, we highly recommend staying here! Huge thanks to Ben for being such an amazing host. Cheers! Marine & Mathis

Firstly, the facilities at The Coh are great: a large modern kitchen with all the necessary kitchen goods you will need; an open living space with sofas so you can relax and chat with the other residents; and a movie room with reclining chairs and projector. There are plenty of designated desk spaces for people working from home, and also a vast collection of board games for when you want to unwind. Importantly, the place is always kept clean and tidy and to a high standard, with cleaners coming in twice a week. The accommodation is really well located: a 20 minute walk from the CBD and 15 minute walk from The University. There are also many independent coffee shops and decent food places nearby. As residents come from all over the world, there are plenty of people up for exploring Auckland and wider New Zealand. From movie marathons to nights out and weekend trips away, there’s plenty of socialising to be done. Ben, the owner, goes above and beyond to make sure everyone’s stay is a memorable one. He does a good job of vetting the people living there, and making sure there is a positive house dynamic, which I was very impressed with. I would highly recommend the Coh to anyone moving to Auckland.
