People Factory is not a hotel as a shelter for people who are immigrants so it's hard to say how we used to be I can just tell you how it is now I'm a worker there and not a hotel employee

This is a real 4-star hotel for the less fortunate. They really cater to the people really nicely

This hotel was an okay option for a frequent traveler as I looked for proximity to manhattan and Astoria. No frills, but had a cool aesthetic and a small gym. Unfortunately I believe it is closed, as the phone is never answered and emails to support are bouncing.

The room I got was small, lack of basic amenities, and not clean. There’s no fridge and microwave in the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided was extremely tiny and it was a used half filled shampoo from the previous person! Hair dryer was missing and I found a ball of really disgusting looking hair on my bed sheet!!! The bed and the pillows were so stiff that made my back hurt the next day. For the price I paid, which is almost 250, it is definitely not worth it!!! Staff and housekeeping need to do a better job and this place need some serious upgrades for their rooms!

My recent experience at The Collective Paper Factory in New York City was quite underwhelming. Despite traveling from Los Angeles, we were disappointed with the overall quality of our stay. The customer service left much to be desired, as we felt neglected and unattended to. The beds were uncomfortable, despite attempts to rectify the issue. Additionally, the room cleanliness was subpar, with essential amenities missing. Overall, our stay at The Collective Paper Factory fell short of our expectations, and I cannot confidently recommend this hotel based on the unsatisfactory experience we had.

Wish there was zero star.. worst Customer service ever received. We had booked our room for 5 nights gladly we got off .. asked to meet the manger to resolve our issue . The reception advised to look for another hotel instead. All ladies available at reception seems like they had a bad day going on . Doesn’t mean you should remove on the paying customer.. right from Patricia in morning to the 2 ladies who were available in evening who refuses to give their names. Hope the owners are aware what’s happening there . As we weren’t the only one who had issues.. if you love being insulted without any reason, do go ahead.. otherwise do not waste your money and time.

I recently stayed at The Collective Paper Factory in Los Angeles and had a disappointing experience. Despite their promise of a comfortable bed, we were made to wait for three hours before being told they couldn't accommodate us. The customer service was subpar, and even though they sent someone to fix the beds, they were still uncomfortable. The room itself was mediocre, lacking basic amenities like tissues. Overall, my stay was underwhelming, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

As a traveler visiting Long Island City, New York, I had the opportunity to book a stay at The Collective Paper Factory Hotel. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the hotel's proximity to Manhattan, without the high Manhattan prices, making it a prime location for those who want to experience Manhattan wtithout having to stay and pay in Manhattan! One of the most fascinating aspects of the hotel is its incorporation of history into its design. The Collective Paper Factory Hotel was once a paper factory for over 100 years, and the hotel pays homage to this heritage through elements such as warm brick and wood accents in the 125 uniquely designed and decorated guest rooms. Although the rooms are furnished in elegant beige tones, the wooden floors do creak, which may be bothersome for light sleepers. While the restaurant has since closed as of 2023, the hotel does offer ample event space, making it an ideal location for conferences or receptions. In addition, the hotel rooms reflect a trendy, loft-like vibe that will appeal to design enthusiasts. ....👏👏👏
