The location and the service of the hotel was great. It’s conveniently located next to several bus and tram routes. Additionally, the rooms themselves were spacious and clean. Some issues we had with our rooms was that the AC was not strong. We had to keep our curtains closed to try and decrease the temperature. Additionally, the building appears to be several buildings connected. To get to our room, we had to take an elevator, then go to another elevator. To get to the other amenities, you’d need to do something similar.

Excellent guest service everywhere, without exception. The stairs outside a must-see:) Good, central location. Clean rooms and well equipped. The food not great especially for keto and carnivores or anyone with gluten intolerance. I know it's Italy but breakfast is not firendly to those people, besides the deli meats were expired 2 days on a row (i left the 3rd so maybe it was fixed afterwords...). If dining alone, they may ignore you for a chunk of time...probably best you eat outside. Otherwise it presents endless possibilities, is nice and clean:)

The rooms are a little on the dim side, but very stylish. Could use some additional storage in the bathroom, but very nice bathroom setup. Great complimentary product for bathroom use, the atmosphere is pretty cool too and its just a unique experience above all those stars. The pool is amazing at the roof top with great view of the city. 😍 the gym also gives you this view and just adds that extra star factor. There's a few other things too that really pushes this to a solid 4.5star, give it a try.

The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini – Review (Finishing my wonderful stay at The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini, I just had to jump in here and write a review because this place is amazing.) The location is excellent, and the rooftop is absolutely stunning — with a pool, lounge chairs, a bar, and breathtaking views. They serve food and snacks at the rooftop bar until late at night, which makes it even more convenient. The downstairs bar is also beautiful, full of greenery and with a fantastic vibe. Breakfast is on another level — truly outstanding. The staff were always kind and helpful, and the whole place feels modern, edgy, and elegant. Honestly, it has everything you could want for a stay in Florence. I can’t recommend it enough — just go see for yourself!

Rooms were clean but tight nice view of park. More set up for students, but worth the price. Cool concepts though. Laundry machines that were free and included soap and fabric softener, nice touch since we're traveling for 3 weeks. Upon check on, we were hungry and they put out a stack of potato croquets, egg rolls and a breaded vegetable ball. Plus fresh friut and cucumber/lemon water. ping pong inn the lobby, foosball outside laundry rooms. All nice touches!! Bonus, quiet surroundings, beautiful park across the street and 10 minutes to central market. Ps reception staff, waiters waitresses room clean staff. All excellent lastly their breakfast for $20 euros was perfect!

Nice place – a bit pricey, but with excellent rooms and good service. It has everything you need for a stay, including a good bar for coffee and a nice restaurant. I really liked how the common areas are designed, especially the swings outside. It’s a bit of a walk from the city, but there was also a really cool pop-up vintage market within the hostel.

The main reason we selected this hotel was because of the pool and its amenities like the laundry. However both of these proved to be a pain to use. The pool was impossible to use unless you were there to grab a spot at 9am when they open or maybe around 12pm when some people would go to lunch. But as a tourist planning to do some exploring in the morning and pool lounging in the afternoon, it was impossible. We read the pool was by reservation, however they removed the reservations and now it is impossible to find a spot after 1pm. The “hotel” is very big with 200+ rooms and the pool area is the size of a room, so not enough space for even half the guests. The laundry was another appeal of this place, however you can only use 1 machine at a time and it only has one setting which is 40 minutes so if you have clothing that need to be washed separately then you will spend half a day here doing laundry. Even if you want to pay for the extra machine, you can’t because it’s all handled through an app. Additionally, there is no space to add your detergent, it says the machine already dispenses it. However while washing my load it all looked clear and like there was zero soap. The hotel is a mix of students and tourists, but is more catered to students with tourist prices (breakfast was €17.50 if reserved ahead of time or €19.50 on the spot, insane!). Because the building is so big not all areas connect, so you might have to take 2-3 elevators to reach your destination depending where you are. The rooms are nice and modern, but the AC inside is weak, we had to buy a fan to be able to sleep in the summer when the temperature was rising to 100’F. The rest of the room was ok, bathrooms were clean and the room had a minimalist style which I appreciate. Overall I am giving it 3 stars because the main appeal for staying in this hotel versus one closer to city center was the pool & laundry and we were unable to use either one properly. Additionally, the distance from any main attraction is an average of 20 minutes which is inconvenient if you need to come back mid day for a break. Because of this, I would recommend staying somewhere closer to city center.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Social Hub Lavagnini. It’s clean, modern, and well-designed with a young, international vibe. We’re in our early 30s and felt like we fit right in. It’s ideal for younger travelers or anyone who prefers something more relaxed and social than a traditional hotel. An older couple might feel a little out of place, but that depends on what kind of atmosphere you’re after. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Anytime we needed something, they handled it quickly and with a great attitude. The common areas downstairs are a real highlight. There’s lots of space to work, hang out, or meet other travelers. It really does have a community feel, just like the reviews say. There’s also a rooftop with a pool and bar. It’s nice to have, but to be honest, we didn’t find the bar particularly exciting. More of a perk than a destination. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and the historic center, so you’ll be doing a bit of walking each day. Still, we thought the location was a good balance; close enough to everything, but far enough to be out of the thick of the crowds. For the price and the comfort of the hotel, it felt totally worth it. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and social place to stay in Florence.
