Weirdest hotel stay of my life. Its a converted dorm and the elevators only worked half the time and were VERY confusing. Think 3 separate elevators in weird spots that makes sense no sense and little to no-signage. The people who worked at reception were great but the rooms are not properly cleaned (lots of missed spots), signage is confusing for hours and navigating and there are signs all over the hotel telling conflicting information on when the bar or restaurant closes and the staff was pretty rude when you asked when they close because the sign on the door says 7:30 but they decided to kick people out of the pool at 6:30. The view from upstairs is nice but its an odd place to stay. Not the type of hotel for the average adult couple, really did feel like a study abroad college hotel.

This hotel was my absolute favorite throughout my two week trip to Italy. It was very modern & fun from the lobby to the hotel room, with a loft-style room, large bathroom, and 12 p.m. checkout. Florence is very walkable, and the orientation to the train station was not a bad walk.. but definitely a walk nonetheless. Would 100% recommend this hotel to my friends.

This was supposed to be a pleasant stay experience. We liked the hotel's design, the bed was comfortable, and the free laundry service was a great bonus. However, some incidents ruined it: * Check-in Experience: The employees didn't explain much to us during check-in. For example, they didn't mention that some elevators would be closed or accessible to external guests for the rooftop bar, which caused inconvenience and made the hotel feel complicated due to the presence of outsiders. * Rooftop Bar Incident: On our last day(6/16), we went to the rooftop bar. It's a beautiful spot for photos. However, when we were taking pictures and videos with our tripods, an employee (a big guy with a beard) came up to us and yelled to stop filming. He claimed other customers were complaining about their privacy being violated, which we absolutely were not doing. We tried to explain that we were only filming ourselves and offered to show him our phones to prove it, even saying we could delete any photos or videos if we had indeed violated anyone's privacy. But he was unwilling to listen to us and very rudely told us to stop filming. This truly ruined our day. I'm a customer too, and I had no intention of violating anyone's privacy. All I wanted was to record the beautiful place and share it with my friends, but it was all ruined by that rude guy. * Party Noise: The hotel rented out the ground floor for a party event. I liked the vibe, but the music booming until midnight was not okay and truly affected hotel guests. Most of the employees at this hotel were good and nice, except for him. Still, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers a quiet place to stay.

I think this is a wonderful place to stay for 2-4 nights with great amenities for the price. I cannot imagine staying longer unless your expectations are very low and you need cheap + want a loud party college vibe. Despite being a “student hotel” guests are of all ages. Rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom is very nice, and AC works well. On site amenities are great and staff is very nice. Negatives: - There is no mattress. Only a thin foam pad on a very squeaky bed frame. Unacceptable for the price of this hotel and how much money this company makes. They need to invest in real mattresses or advertise it is a COT not a bed. - Very loud and thin walls with bed frames attached to wall. My neighbors had a lot of fun…every night…my whole bed would shake, items falling off my table, and I could hear everything as if I was in bed with them too LOL The hotel is also surrounded by busy streets, and with so many students returning drunk late into the night - sleep is disturbed. - Rooms are poorly furnished if staying beyond a few nights - limited storage and no comfortable seating despite the large size. They should invest in a chaise for the room. - Pool closes early whenever staff seems to feel like it, with no notice to guests, despite online rules stating 9pm. The bar is open until 12a - why close the pool 6h early for no reason?? Very disappointing as we came back to use the pool two days in a row, after specially booking this hotel for pool access, and were denied the first night @1730 due to an event, and then returned at 1800 the next night to find it closed. Again, no signs, no notice, no information at check in beyond the website which clearly states 2100 close.

A pleasant and comfortable place. My wife and I are in our 50s, so a bit above the predominantly younger demographic, but despite the bustling downstairs courtyard and rooftop bar/pool, our room on the 2nd floor was a quiet escape. Only a few minutes walk to the closest Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop, a helpful staff, and overall we are happy with our stay.

Very good hotel choice in Florence. Friendly stuff, amazing location, very spacious room. Hotel gives a youngster vibe while also good for family with young kid. The most amazing spot is the roof top bar with a breathtaking view of Florence and pool, as well as the fun lobby filled with amenities like 🏓 and 🎹. Oh the best to come is they offer self service free laundry!

I stayed for three nights in an “Executive Double” room at The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini. The room had a lovely view and everything I needed, except a safe. I slept fairly well here, except for the bed being a bit too firm for me and a bit of street noise as the window faced onto a fairly busy street. Shower was small but good and all the necessary toiletries were provided. Staff were helpful and able to assist me in English when needed. I used the self serve laundry facilities during my stay which were free – so an unexpected bonus! The location was very good – with a tram stop out front and within easy walking distance of Santa Maria Novella Station, as well as Mercato Centrale. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Very interesting and modern place. It is 4 stars, and at least u expect to have plug-ins for charging the phones on your bedside, but nope. Apart from that, it was clean, water, teabags, coffee capsules and sweet snacks were provided on a daily basis. I adored the swings in the entrance.
