The Student Hotel is great! Our Amsterdam City location is more than a hotel: it’s a hub for co-living and co-working where travellers, locals and students get together to learn, stay, work and play.

Every aspect of this stay has been awesome. The food is great, the common spaces are clean and welcoming, the facilities are really nice! The gym is the best I’ve stayed at across 3 countries. And the staff! Everyone is so pleasant, genuinely kind and supportive, wants to make your stay as good as it can be. Thank you to Lucia (I think? I’m sorry I’m so bad at names) for all your support with laundry and the room. And to an awesome man (again, bad with names) who gave me about 300 great suggestions for places to eat nearby and in the city! I’d be happy to stay here again, and hope the staff all have an amazing day.

The hotel you stay in while traveling is half the fun, comfort, and enjoyment of your trip. This hotel was truly excellent. The rooms, the service, and the location. I spent my first night in a lovely room, but I encountered a minor issue. On my second night, I went to reception to inquire about changing rooms. I met Lucia, who greeted me warmly, kindly, and with a smile. She said, "Of course, bring your things right away, and I'll find you another room." This is the room shown in the attached photos, and it was absolutely wonderful. Lucia, you made my stay incredibly pleasant, and I think I'll become a regular customer, especially since I travel to Amsterdam so often. Thank you, Lucia, for your excellent service, your impeccable manners, and your kind treatment. I hope the hotel management will give special attention to this wonderful employee.

Stayed here for a weekend in December 2025 and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even gave us free prosecco as we checked in :) The vibe of the place is great, it's a mixture of student accommodation and a hotel, and has a kind of "Berlin-Industrial" vibe, not trying to be cool, but it just is. Rooms were very nice, really big, with two sinks in the bathroom and a spacious shower, and the bed was comfy. I was pleasantly surprised that there's a free gym in the basement, and while it's not huge, it has pretty much everything you could need. There's a metro station a two minute walk away too, and a shopping centre across the road if you want to get some snacks etc. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Amsterdam :)

One of the best things i’ve done in Amsterdam is staying with The Social Hub, the hotel is very cozy and nice. It’s location was very good for me, took me around 30 minutes to get to dam square, but what even made it easy is the metro station which is only 1 minute away walking from the hotel, in 8 minutes I am in city center. The hygiene was good and the service was great. Highly recommended

Great location, very easy to get to from the Airport. The gym was good, clothing washed and dried. Good bar. Breakfast was excellent. And a really nice restaurant next door. Staff super friendly and easy to get on with.

The rooms are modern and cozy with an amazing and comfortable bed. The shower is also spacious and you always have hot water with pressure. There also is a coffee machine which is amazing, however, there is no water in the room so you have to buy some. The only downside i found is the fridge which does not fit anything. The location is great next to the metro and a supermarket. At the last day the cards they give expire before the checkout time, and that resulted in 3 trips from the room to the reception area until it got fixed. The elevators are very slow as well.

Loved this hotel. There's a cafe, bar and co-working space downstairs, which created a lively atmosphere without being rowdy. We had a refurbished room on the 4th floor and it was very thoughtfully designed, comfortable and clean - we slept really well. Excellent access to the metro, bit of a walk to the tram stops. Definitely geared towards a younger crowd, which suited us, but there were older guests around as well. It was everything we wanted from a European city hotel and we'd happily come back.
