The Student Hotel is great! Our Amsterdam City location is more than a hotel: it’s a hub for co-living and co-working where travellers, locals and students get together to learn, stay, work and play.

Very basic room without a mini fridge. When you have a shower, water comes out unless you're careful because there is no door. Great location, very close to metro station. Welcoming staff, very polite. Also, it is very modern and full of young people! Excellent breakfast!

If you want to focus just in the hotel for staying, maybe you want to look for another options. I stayed two nights: first night I found a lot of dust in the bathroom (It's like no one has been vacuuming for weeks), water in the kettle, and the duvet was kind of yellowish, and the quality of the pillows is not so good; the second night, my key card did not work, I had to go to the front desk to solve the problem; and finally, the breakfast was ok. On the other hand, they have a nice co-working area, pool, meeting rooms, etc. I did not use them, but they seemed nice.

Rooms were on the small side. But that's to be expected in Amsterdam. The location was also great. Pretty much next to the metro. So going around the city is super easy. The service was not as good tho. They cleaned the rooms on weird times, around 17/18.

Very poor hotel rooms. The hotel looks nice at the lobby but the rooms are very bad. We arrived in the morning and they were still housekeeping the room. Once we got up, it was extremely dusty and did not look like it was cleaned. The housekeepers took some time to come and clean it and they pretty much did nothing. I wiped a napkin on the surface ONCE, and you can see the dust in the picture. The entire place feels like a dormitory. We also had our room knocked on aggressively at night.

Great location for access to the Metro network and you can get anywhere fast. It’s hip, it’s cool, Prosecco welcome and real friendly and helpful staff. Lots of activities such as table tennis and pool, free of charge. Lots of working spaces and great selection of food and drink. Highly recommend.

I left my electronic devices on the table in the room. Half an hour later, I called the hotel and asked them to take a look, but they didn't do it until the evening. They kept me waiting for 1 hour in the evening. When the time of my flight was approaching, I insisted. They pretended to look and after 1 minute they said they couldn't find it. But it was obvious from the attitude of the receptionist that even if he found it, he would throw it away. I am not satisfied at all. It is not safe.

Love staying at this place when im in the city. Very handy for the subway. If the night rate was a bit more cost effective Id probably stay more. Clean. Helpful staff. Nice cafe and restaurant with a small gym in the basement. Suggest getting an higher floor rom for great views. Can’t fault it.

I was at The Social Hub Amsterdam during the B For Good Leaders Summit reception. It has been the hotel of my choice before I had settled in the Netherlands. I was impressed by The Social Hub Amsterdam's new foundation initiative shared at the B For Good Leaders Summit reception. Their commitment to social impact and community building is truly inspiring.
