The Student Hotel is great! Our Amsterdam City location is more than a hotel: it’s a hub for co-living and co-working where travellers, locals and students get together to learn, stay, work and play.

Loved this hotel. There's a cafe, bar and co-working space downstairs, which created a lively atmosphere without being rowdy. We had a refurbished room on the 4th floor and it was very thoughtfully designed, comfortable and clean - we slept really well. Excellent access to the metro, bit of a walk to the tram stops. Definitely geared towards a younger crowd, which suited us, but there were older guests around as well. It was everything we wanted from a European city hotel and we'd happily come back.

Excellent! Navereno was the best host. Was there almost every day and helped us so much to make our stay good. The location and facilities were nice, but he made it excellent. Thank you. Will come back.... also the breakfast was delicious.

Exceptional Service from Bia at The Social Hub Amsterdam City We stayed at The Social Hub Amsterdam City for the first time, and our experience was made truly special thanks to our host, Bia. As first-time visitors to Amsterdam, we had quite a few questions and small issues, and she handled everything with patience, professionalism, and a warm smile. Bia went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She addressed all our concerns quickly and gave us incredibly helpful insights about the city—local tips, places to visit, and how to get around. Her genuine care and friendly attitude made a huge difference to our stay. Thank you, Bia, for making our first trip to Amsterdam so smooth and memorable. Highly recommended

The room I had was one of the new rooms, which was very modern, clean, and comfortable. It included good amenities such as free laundry. The breakfast was priced very good, although, I forgot to pick up my breakfast takeout on my last day as I had to check out really early. The fitness room was great as they had a variety of equipment. Lastly, the location was good as it was a walk to the Metro and the transit to the center of Amsterdam was pretty short. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The only downside was that I couldn't connect to the TV with my device via Chromecast (but this was minor for me). I would definitely stay here again!

We booked a trip to Amsterdam using easyJet weekend breaks to celebrate our 66th birthdays & found ourselves Social Hub Amsterdam. From moment we came to reception we were warmly welcomed by Duarte who made us (group of 4) so welcome. All staff fantastic & breakfast choices excellent. We will definitely tell our pals. Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable but the temperature was not controllable. It often felt warmer than it ought to be. . Breakfast was good. Gym needs more attention, cleaning, and better ventilation. I agree with the other reviewers’ sentiments that it feels more like a social gathering place than a hotel. I think the price is way too much for what you receive in return. I paid over $1000 for three nights, and that’s with a special rate as a conference attendee.

I experienced a sudden health issue while attending a work event at The Social Hub and was so impressed by the support I received. Marjella went above and beyond, finding a quiet room for me to rest and offering first aid to help with heart palpitations. Marjella's lovely therapy dog also came over to help me stay calm. The hotel manager promptly contacted emergency services and ensured I was cared for. Exceptional kindness and outstanding customer service, thank you!

Rooms are very clean. Very nice bed sheets, pillows, and mattress. Had very good sleeps. Loved all the coworking space in the lobby, and accessibility to laundry room and coffee shop and restaurant at all times in the lobby. Also, metro station close by. Every staff was very friendly too.
