Lovely place especially for those looking for a cheaper stay, right by a tram stop which is easy to use and saves a 15 min walk into the centre. Room was cleaned frequently and staff were friendly and helpful. I don’t think I have any complaints but only thing I would add is the room was quite hot as the air con was quite weak, although it was exceptionally hot outside during our stay. A fridge would have been nice but that’s just preference.

Our stay was great! A lot of extras that you usually have to pay for at hostels were free – for example laundry, coffee, bike parking, luggage storage, and so on. Everything was great: the room was spacious and the people were friendly. Definitely recommend!

I was very impressed. Location was just beside a tram stop, so very handy. The rooms were great, big enough and with a kitchenette with a cooker and fridge and good coffee maker. Comfortable bed and good toiletries in the bathroom. Lots of nice touches, a handwritten welcome note and chocolates, a couple of condoms, plenty of water. And at reception, fruit and snacks. Very helpful staff. The gym had plenty of dumbbells, not much for leg work. Nice bar. It is wheelchair accessible, but if you have mobility issues, the sheer size might be a problem.

We just finished our stay at The Social Hub Rotterdam. Our trip was focused on exploring the area around the university, so I was looking for accommodation conveniently located between the university and the city center and this place was perfect for that. The Social Hub offers excellent value for money. We stayed on the 6th floor; the soundproofing was very effective despite the room facing the street with the tram line, so noise was never an issue. The gym is open 24/7, and renting a bike was very convenient for getting around. The location truly is ideal. While it’s not within walking distance from the city center, the tram at the door of the Hub makes it easy to reach in just a few minutes. However, I recommend renting a bike, it takes 5 minutes to the city center. The room had everything I needed: a kitchenette, a big comfortable toilet with a bathtub, the bed was very comfortable and had double pillows and although breakfast wasn’t included, there were good options nearby. One of the highlights of The Social Hub is its common areas. These spaces are perfect for spending time playing billiards or ping pong, working in a relaxed atmosphere, or simply listening to music and socializing. It really creates a welcoming community vibe that enhances the stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Social Hub Rotterdam for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced stay. Regards, Amparo

This place has great value for money. I got a room in a very fair price. And I felt I have everything I need - 24/7 gym, good breakfast (not included), kitchenette, nice shower, with bath. Additionally, from time to time there are talks and workshops in the lobby, that can interest you as a visitor. Regarding the location - you can't walk there from the city center, but it is easy to get there by the tram. Highly recommend!

The staff at the reception and breakfast area were very pleasant and provided a nice experience. If I may be a bit picky, I would have liked the breakfast menu to change a little more each day. On the other hand, the worst part was that both elevators on the west side were out of order, forcing me to travel back and forth from the 6th floor to the ground multiple times. One of the elevators has been broken for over two weeks. The staff mentioned they were calling for a technician, but it is taking far too long. I never want to deal with carrying heavy suitcases up and down those stairs again.

Pros: great location. it is right next to a tram stop, a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro stations and a 10 minute bike ride to the center. it is also very close to erasmus university great service: for student stay, they clean the kitchen and empty the bins 2 times a week. they also clean your room once a month and change your bed sheets and towels. the staff are friendly and are always willing to help you out. sometimes they even go the extra mile. rooms: are small but good. gym: gym has good cardio equipment but the weight training equipment could be better (its not bad though). underground bike parking: very good cons: elevators frequently break and sometimes take days or even a week to be repaired. the reservation system for the laundry is mediocre. it is stressful and annoying to book a laundry machine at peak hours, you may need to wait a long time to get a machine. also, some of the dryers can fall out of order, which makes it even harder to get a dryer.

The location is great, the room is fine as well but the breakfast is horrible. You cannot serve this to guests. We went down around 9 in the morning and the only thing left was 1 boiled egg and couple of slices of bread which could be used a murder weapon. So if you book this hotel, have a breakfast somewhere else.
