Overall good experience, the unit was properly equipped as advertises. And it was pretty quiet during the extend of the stay.

I am across the street at UKO Newtown Village, but I strongly discourage you from spending any money at UKO. Summary: Poor living conditions, openly uncaring administrators, not one good night of sleep since I moved in Since I moved into UKO Newtown Village, there have been bursts of rattling noises coming from my pipes. These bursts of noise occur randomly and in the middle of the night. I have not been able to sleep through the night since I moved in. My sleep has been hellish. For $650 a week, these conditions are beyond unacceptable. I contacted my building supervisor and UKO admin and was disheartened by their lack of action and communication. The building supervisor only works on Mondays and Tuesdays and is almost impossible to reach even when she is working. The UKO admin is equally impossible to reach and only seems interested in their tenants when demanding rent. Despite requesting help from UKO for over a month, my situation has not improved. My neighbors agree. One neighbor moved in to discover her AC wasn't working and her ceiling was leaking. The building supervisor ignored her calls. UKO never made any effort to repair her unit. I cannot recommend UKO less.

Very good position to live in. Near the main road of Newtown, plus all the essential shops are behind the corner. I didn't love the studio but that's just personal preference. Still recommend it!

The internet is fantastic. The location is great closer to train station and bus stops. It is safe as its closer to the pedestrian traffic and police station also. The building is secured with safety keys and locks. Smoke free interiors. Great views from rooftop, community kitchen space to bring friends & for events hosted by UKO. The landlord is reasonable with tenancy contract. Thank you to the community & property staff, GM, & managers including Ophelie, Lais, Marie and Slavik from the UKO team.

Despite my overseas location, it only took 48 hours to complete all the necessary paperwork and seal the deal. Their accessibility and responsiveness truly stood out and made the entire process stress-free. 🏡 Warm Welcome and Seamless Settling In I was pleasantly surprised when the building manager warmly welcomed me, providing a complete rundown of the property. It made settling in so much smoother, and their hospitality was beyond expectations. 🧹 Spotlessly Clean and Well-Furnished Room Entering my room, I was delighted to find it impeccably clean and exactly as presented in the 3D model. The fully furnished room had a cozy atmosphere, and any items that didn't suit my taste were promptly replaced by the diligent building manager. 🎉 Fantastic Shared Area and Rooftop The ground floor's free shared studio is a highlight, offering fantastic facilities for entertainment, cooking, and parties. It's a great space to connect with other tenants during various programs held throughout the year. Additionally, the fully furnished rooftop provides a delightful view of the street. 🛍 Ideal Location Near Everything Situated in Newtown, one of Sydney's liveliest streets, the building is just a 3-minute walk from shopping centers, and 15-minute walk from libraries, and Sydney University. The vibrant atmosphere adds an extra layer of charm to the already fantastic location. 🚗 Parking, Fast Internet, and Laundry Service Parking is a breeze with a dedicated lot, and tenants can apply for more than one space. The building's fast internet and complimentary laundry services further enhance the overall living experience. 🚪 Spacious Closets and Satisfactory Laundry Service The beautifully fitted and spacious closets in the room were a pleasant surprise. The laundry service, too, exceeded my expectations, adding an extra layer of convenience to daily living.
