The elevator wasn't working, we were at the third level and we had to bring all the groceries, water, luggages for three levels. The house manager said at the beginning it was going to be fixed soon, end of the story? we stayed almost 3 months and the elevator never got fixed. I had different issues and every time I tried to contact the house manager she wasn't answering, not via whatsapp, not via email and not even via phone calls. We were supposed to have digital keys on our phones which we never had, always saying it was an issue of the system at the beginning but after 3 months and many times asking for it we never got it. Problems with the payment system and problems with the payments in general given that more than once they charged us more money than what we were supposed to pay, and if it wasn't for us noticing it we would have paid unfairly more. Charging us for extra money for absolutely no reason. I'm sorry but the experience here was really bad and overall the whole organization. Matt was the only one able to help us even once he wasn't working for uko anymore, the only one answering us and actually giving us an hand. The woman who is in charge now is a good person but definitely not ready for this job; she doesn't speak english well, she doesn't answer, she doesn't help, she does nothing of what she's supposed to, someone else should be in charge, someone who's actually responsible. Uko would be better with somebody more friendly, more helpful, more house manager type of thing. Our room was great but I don't think we are ever going to stay here again.

This spot is awesome! The location is on a super quiet street, so it's really peaceful all the time. The natural light is amazing—I don't even need to turn on a light until late afternoon. The room itself is huge, with plenty of space to stretch out or work out. Plus, the bus stop to the city is literally right across the street with buses coming all the time, which is so convenient. My only minor complaints are the small fridge and no AC, but honestly, I'm completely happy with UKO Stanmore. It's been perfect.

I love my UKO Studio! Friendly management and generally responsive maintenance team make for a welcoming environment. I love our monthly events (looking at you, movie night!) and always show up to them when I can. :)

UKO Stanmore has been such a fantastic choice! For anyone new to Australia and searching for a long-term lease, it’s a super convenient option. The rooms are beautifully modern and fully furnished, making it easy to feel at home from day one. The all-inclusive rent covers everything, so there’s no need to worry about managing multiple bills, which is a huge relief. Plus, the maintenance team is so reliable—they respond quickly to any issues, whether it’s fixing equipment or taking care of other room needs. UKO Stanmore has been an ideal place for me as a newcomer to Australia! If you’re arriving in Sydney, looking for a long-term lease (usually 3+ months), and want the convenience of all-in-one package accommodation, this is the perfect spot. The rooms are modern, fully equipped, and have a sleek design that makes it easy to settle in right away. Everything is managed and included in the rent, which takes a lot of the hassle out of the moving process. Plus, the maintenance team is fantastic—they’re quick to help with any issues, from faulty equipment to room repairs, which really adds to the peace of mind. Highly recommend UKO Stanmore for anyone wanting a smooth, stress-free stay in Sydney!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND UKO Stanmore! I’ve been living here for the past 3 months and have just extended my stay, with the plan to be here long-term. It’s a really awesome place. First, I was super pleasantly surprised by how cosy, convenient and thoughtfully designed the apartments are. I’m currently living in a studio which is nice and quiet, faces the courtyard, and has a neat little balcony with furniture for relaxing outside. The design is modern, chic, functional and just really cool if you’re into visual/designy stuff (I know I am!) There are drawers built into the mini-staircase which leads up to the bed. There are also pull-out shelves – and pull-out wardrobe space to hang your clothes, alongside lots of storage space under the bed. And the best thing is definitely not having to buy and move furniture! The apartments are fully furnished – with all the crockery and appliances you’ll need – and even comes with a flat-screen TV. Cue Netflix bingeing on those quiet nights (or all nights?) Then there’s the communal kitchen/relaxation area too where you can socialise and have drinks/play one of the many board games. It has some beautiful touches and is decorated like a proper home, with a real community vibe (the useable Polaroid camera is also a cool addition!) You can also rent one of the free bikes if you want to go into the city. What stands out the most though is how friendly and helpful the Community Management team are – and the vibe they promote. They are personable and responsive - and were super helpful in helping me to secure my apartment when I had to find a place in a short space of time. Also, maintenance requests are handled pretty quickly. I’ve lived in rented flats where landlords sometimes try to avoid fixing things at all, so it’s been a breath of fresh air to know that UKO are on it and will try to get things sorted asap for you. A big thank you to the UKO team – this place rocks! ❤️
