Urban Campus made moving to a foreign country so much easier! Whether it be for socialising and making new friends, networking and creating ideas together, it has the spaces and community atmosphere that make you feel right at home. You will always find plans to join or someone who has the same interests as you, whether that be community gardening, yoga on the terrace, hiking trips, language exchange, games nights, event planning, start up ideas, you name it! The community dinners make everyone feel welcome and allow the community and building to become even better. The staff are friendly and attentive and with bills and weekly cleaning included, it takes the hassle away so you can make better use of your time and enjoy Madrid life! I lived in the Mellado building and there are a number of different rooms to choose from to suit different budgets. It's in a quieter yet centrally located area of Madrid (2 mins to Islas Filipinas metro or 7 mins to Moncloa metro) where a 50-min walk through Parque del Oeste will take you to the centre of town past a lot of main tourist attractions. My time at UC Mellado will always be treasured, where lifelong bonds were formed and a new way of living was discovered!

Best place I ever lived in! There were many aspects that contributed to a wonderful experience. I will list the most important ones below: - Very nice international community of people makes you feel included no matter where you are from in the world. - Although the rooms are quite expensive, if you like sharing you do get good value for your money considering the beautiful terrace with BBQ, the gym and the playground. - In my case, I found the stuff was always very responsive and usually able to fix any issue that appeared. I have to mention the place is not amazing for everyone though: If you value personal space and privacy or if you do not like to use the shared spaces with other people then this place might not be for you. Also one aspect to mention is that although almost every one here can speak English, this is still in Spain, so expect most conversations to be in the native language of the place.

I have been living here almost 2 years, and am very settled, my work-life balance has improved dramatically and I have made some friends for life. Moving to a new city is tough, and I wish i’d had something like Urban Campus in previous cities I’ve lived in!

A GREAT place to LIVE and WORK! Urban Campus is without a doubt, the best place to live in Madrid if you like socialising and making friends. The atmosphere is the BEST and working and living here enables you to meet a lot of new people that are super sociable and nice. What I like the most is that there is always something to do or a plan to join which I personally love! If you are an entrepreneur, want to expand your network and also like to make friends, this is for sure the best place to live and work, especially if you are new in town.
