Moving to San Francisco from New York, and originally Kazakstan, wasn’t easy- especially on a student budget. Finding an affordable apartment close to my university felt like a challenge—until I discovered Urbanests. What stood out right away was the affordability compared to other options in the city. As a student, that was a huge plus. But even more importantly, the community here is so diverse and welcoming. The events help me feel more connected and engaged with my neighbors. I’ve met people from all walks of life, made new friends, and felt a real sense of belonging. For students looking for affordable, well-situated housing in San Francisco, Urbanests is absolutely worth checking out. The mix of affordability, convenience, and a supportive community make it the right choice for me.

I had a positive experience staying in their unit. They kept my unit maintained well before I moved in. Both managers were very friendly and easy to contact. I never felt like I had to wait long for a bathroom or a shower to be available. All the tenants were respectful, but it's San Francisco-so don't expect anyone to be particularly friend. It's also like a hotel where people move in and out constantly. The only real issue I had was getting my deposit back in a timely manner, but ultimately it was sent to me.

A fire broke out on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 12:44. I'm saying it seriously... There is a psychologically disturbed manager here. And he doesn't care about anyone. .I definitely do not recommend it..... And the electrical problems in the building continue....

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Urba Nest Accommodation at 1080 Folsom Residence, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The facilities and amenities were top-notch, featuring a well-organized laundry system and regular vacuuming and cleaning of the corridors, which maintained a pristine environment. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were exceptional, with constant bathroom cleaning and proactive pest control measures ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. Security is a major priority here, and I felt incredibly safe throughout my visit, thanks to the 24/7 security team. The free bike rental options were a fantastic perk for exploring the area. With a wonderful sense of privacy and staff who are welcoming, inclusive, and always ready to assist, Urba Nest has created an environment that is both secure and homely. It’s the perfect choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and inviting stay away from home—I can’t wait to return. Thank you, Urba Nest, for making my stay a pleasant one.

I have stayed with UrbaNests on 3 occasions in 2023 and 2024; Columbus Ave, 1080 Folsom and Market St. All 3 properties were good value for money (SF is such an expensive city), I felt. Each of these properties have their perks but overall, by FAR my favorite stay was that in Mkt St, where I stayed in August 2024. The location was so central, without being loud. The bed was super comfortable & big - as was my room. Bob and the other female manager were super friendly, welcoming and helpful - no ask was too much for them. The vast majority of the other guests were very pleasant, respectful and nice too. I felt comfortable and safe and really enjoyed my time stay here. I was incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Manpreet, the leasing agent, when I stayed in Mkt St. She was very responsive, helpful and flexible both before and after my stay; ensuring that my security deposit was returned to me within a week of moving out (even though I am no longer in the US). Overall, I would highly recommend UrbaNests for budget conscious people, in particular the Mkt St. Residence - try to request Manpreet too, if you can :)) Enjoy!

I worked with ManPreet from May upon until August to secure my spot at the Post Street location. I am new to San Francisco from Mississippi & ManPreet really made the process of securing affordable housing a breeze. She was so pleasant to work with and even provided me extra time to get my secure deposit together. The property it’s self is very quiet, clean, and a prime location. It’s literally in the center of downtown San Francisco. I would definitely recommend to others. Ask for Manpreet for the best experience possible with the application process ☺️ Update: I have stopped renting from this company and now everyone is ghost silent on getting my security deposit returned. Manpreet is no longer on WhatsApp and no one ever answers the phone for this company because it’s a google number. I will be contacting a lawyer about this Monday. Building I stayed at also turned out to be infested with roaches… I wish I would have taken a picture every time I had to kill about 10 a day & I am not playing when I say that.

371 Columbus Ave is the most discusting pest infested building I have ever been in. The place was advertised to be cleaned regularly, but it is cleaned twice a week at best. The Resident Manager is suppose to be cleaning it all days the professional cleaners don’t come, but never has. She does not answer half our messages even when it’s a safety hazard. The landlord and CEO Tony, is completely unresponsive now, even though there are pest and mold infestations. There are worms and cockroaches in the bathrooms and mice in the kitchen that I have seen on top of the stove and running across the counters. It is a biohazard, unsafe for all of the tenants, and breaking multiple building and sanitation codes. It was the worst mistake of my life moving into the building.
