The whole experience during my stay with Vybe Living has been very comfortable and easy. They have been very communicative and accommodating throughout my stay and would recommend to everyone if they're looking to stay in SF.

I am extremely disappointed with Vibe Living. I have not received my security deposit back. It has been over 2 months, and I have made multiple attempts to contact Vibe Living via email and phone calls, all of which have been ignored. Their lack of communication is unacceptable. It feels like they are deliberately avoiding their responsibility to return my deposit. I strongly advise potential renters to avoid Vibe Living. Their unprofessionalism and disregard for customer service are shocking. If anyone at Vibe Living is reading this, please reach out to resolve this matter.

Pretty horrible experience. Pretty bad roommate experiences, and absolutely awful maintenance issues. Moving out because it took over 30 days for an update on my heat. The update? That there isn’t one, and I am still without heat. Save your coin, there are better options in the city.

What to say about Vybe that isn't already listed. It took almost a full month to receive my deposit back, but even then it took the threat of small claims court from them to respond. My house was subjected to a mentally unstable roommate that we kept flagging to them with concerning behavior. It took until the unstable roommate attempted to murder one of our quietest roommates did Vybe do anything. Not allowing roommates to screen and interview potential new roommates is a recipe for disaster. I would not now, or ever recommend Vybe to anyone.

I enjoyed Staying at the Oakland location. The place is clean, well designed and safe. I just had bad luck with one of the roomates. He was borderline schizophrenic. Which created a bad experience. I loved the monthly professional cleaning and the free supplies

While living with Vybe, things were pretty average until they weren't. Vybe rents each room in a space individually and charges additional fees for various services. When I first began living with Vybe, there was no "membership fee" explained to me, this came up as a surprise fee ($500/year). The service charges are fine, but the amount paid for services seems excessive for what is provided ($195/month/person; TP + paper towels + 2x monthly cleaning of common spaces). There is often no notice of maintenance or other Vybe management visits and little communication when something is going on with the apartments (for example: Vybe sublets, our apartment went up for sale and we were not notified by Vybe -- we received notice in the form of people showing up to show the apartment). Management does well to be responsive to tickets, but often issues will go unfixed for months - or unfixed as a whole. It took ~6 months of tickets for a broken oven/stove to be replaced (maintenance visited and noted the broken appliance, but took this long to take action). Our wifi has been out for 2+ months, there is seemingly no fix in sight. The roommates are variable in terms of tolerability, but be prepared for some to be your new best friends and others to drive you up a wall; our house even had instances of roommates making other roommates feel unsafe and unwelcome in the home. I would recommend attempting to contact potential roommate candidates when Vybe sends out their contact for approval, but be aware that even if you express discomfort, they will probably be your new housemate.

other than their absolutely abysmal communication practices, I didnt have a bad living experience with vybe. The home was nice and my roommates were okay. But Vybe has made my move-out experience quite disappointing. I'm leaving a review because it seems that Kate can only promptly reply to negative google reviews but not to emails! I moved out of a Vybe living home 28 days ago and have yet to receive my security deposit or any updates on when I'll actually be getting it. At this point, its wayyyy past the 21 day deadline for the state of CA! I've been emailing them since the 24th and within that time and between Molly and Kate no one has been able to give me a simple answer! This is unacceptable. I don't believe that if I were the one this late on paying rent, Vybe/Kate would be this unresponsive. $1290 is a lot of money when you're a broke grad student, but it seems no one at Vybe cares about that! Oh and don't even bother calling that number Kate attaches to her email. It never goes through! They might as well move their primary contact to google reviews since that's all they seem to respond to. Taking this to small claims court and reporting them to the BBB and attaching the law on returning security deposits here since they don't know it over at their office. According to California Civil Code Section 1950.5: If your security deposit is not returned or accounted for within 21 days, you can sue the landlord in Small Claims Court (limit is $10,000; if higher, then lawsuit would be in Superior Court) for the amount of the deposit and any other loss by the tenant, plus twice the amount of the deposit if you can show bad faith retention of the deposit by the landlord.

Pleasant Stay, Accessible Friendly Staffs, Affordable Rents, Furnished Spaces, Highly Professional Cleaning, Flexibility in Lease-terms & Great Roomies are guaranteed when you choose to stay in the properties managed superbly by Vybe Living. Experienced Great Support from Sarah with Move-in formalities, On-line Tour, Screening & Lease Agreement Signing. Ivan who helped us with lots of Maintenance requests throughout my stay is so great to call him as Buddy and he is exceptional at his services. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Molly, Pamela & others whom I might have missed to mention here who are great in providing support & assistance whenever required. I would return to stay with Vybe Living properties, if I get a chance again. Cheers!
